On “Blessings of Amurdad” (Amurdad translating to immortality in Middle Persian), Dakhma abducts listeners to a distant, foreign land and dares to journey to a time long ago, when desert mystics and noble empires still strode proudly through ancient Persia. Thematically, “Blessings of Amurdad” explores the complex relationship between mortality and immortality in Zoroastrianism, based mainly on key passages of the ancient text of the Gathas. In particular, the band manages to provide a compelling narrative detailing perceived jealousies expressed by mortals towards the divine and vice versa. These themes are captured in the compelling cover artwork, painted by the inimitable Babar Moghal, depicting an ancient tower of silence, seemingly forgotten and decaying but nevertheless exuding a sense of foreboding and nobility, hinting at the divine.
The album, the band's 12th full-length release, is a testament to their burning desire to create blackened metal of the highest order. A concept album of sorts, Serpent Sermon is an unadulterated attack on all that is good, casting a heavy pall over light and love. Morgan offers, “The lyrics should speak to everybody, to realize the power contained within. Just let it embrace you and the journey has begun!” That journey is a deep one that plumbs the very depths of Hell as guitars rip and shred, drums thunder and the low end bass pulls at the very bowels of the soul. “As long as we have the desire and burning ambition to spread the message we will continue to be the servants of a higher cause and keep delivering blood, fire and death to the world!”

Seven years without a new studio album by long-running Swedish black metal act DARK FUNERAL was a tough time for its worldwide legions of fans, but finally in 2016, two decades after the release of the band's legendary debut album “The Secrets Of The Black Arts” a new aeon is about to begin. “Angelus Exuro Pro Eternus” is the fifth satanic symphony by the Swedish black metal overlords and was originally put out in 2009. Once again produced by longtime sound master Peter Tägtgren (Hypocrisy) it was a more traditional masterpiece offering blasting tempo and hymn-like melodies to equal parts. Accompanied by five fantastic live tracks recoded in Buenos Aires (for the first time on audio CD) spanning the band's entire history it furthermore features remastered sound, new layouts, liner notes and unseen photos. A timeless black metal classic!

riginally released in the autumn of 2005, of DARK FUNERAL's fourth album, Attera Totus Sanctus, was arguably the band's fastest and fiercest record ever – which is all the more remarkable given the band's longevity to that point. Where most bands soften or slow down as they get older – or break up, respectably, before ruining their good name – DARK FUNERAL proved that age is just a number and made their razor-sharp yet always-melodic sound that much more nuclear-powered. In fact, that they were able combine such amazingly blitzed speeds with melodies that are highly memorable, even at those speeds, is something that's black magick indeed… And another fiery album cover proved that nothing could extinguish DARK FUNERAL's inferno!
At long last, OSMOSE will do DARK FUNERAL's back catalog justice with the first of many reissues. This version of Attera Totus Sanctus will faithfully reproduce the original, now finally available on CD.

Recorded within less than two weeks at a studio in Wilster, Germany back in 1993, “The Ending Quest” was a bit of a forgotten obscurity until Century Media Records' 2012 anthology “Within the Shadow of Darkness”, which also covered all of the band's demo recordings.
Now, the album is made available again as a limited edition including liner notes by Chris Dick (Decibel Magazine, USA).
