Raw black metal with industrial and dark ambient. This is their seventh album.
Some tracks are noise/dark ambient constructions, acting as buffers between the other songs where the band really explore their industrial side. Others are much more black metal in scope, although the industrial/noise influences are still there, lurking like evil predators. Other songs are a real merging of the two, consolidating everything the band know about grim intensity into compressed nastiness.
New Era Of Chaos”, uscito come autoproduzione.
EUROPEANS ONLY! High Roller Records, double CD, 3 different versions, bonus tracks, slipcase
German PRAG 83 delivers mellow, sublime and dark alternate folk – rugged to the bone and close to earth. Musically unique with elements that reminds of the Katatonia´s ”Discouraged ones” era but also not far away from the works by the northern woodsmen of Lönndom
These songs revolve around the transformation from man to The Übermensch (German for "Overman, Overhuman, Superman, Superhuman), through the purification of the fire and the metaphor of the warrior, mainly taking inspiration from parts of Vijnanabhairava as well as personal experiences of meditation.
Fire is the main element manifested by Shiva, seen as a purifying factor and dissolving, regenerating and annihilating.
In this case also seen as the awakening of a burning and dissolving energy, which brings chaos and destroys the boundaries of mortality to reach immortality.

Debut from the 4-piece, Floridian muck dwellers Gnosis. Despite touches of Norwegian blackness this is pretty old school sounding shit with many nods to the classics. There’s no overproduction hanging on the meathook in Gnosis’ butcher shack.
You get a bit of Obituary and Morbid Angel’s rampant brutality burl, the thick and mid-paced doom undertones of Incantation and Vore with a little sprinkling of Slayer. Despite blasts, double-bass and a pretty retching vocalist these guys are hardly the fastest and most technical lot to throw down.
