Harvest is an ode to Valkenstijn's beloved Thuringian homelands. It takes us on a journey through misty woods and foggy nights, when the golden sunlight of late summer must give in to the autumnal cold that starts rising from the ground, when the warmth of summer must yield to the chilling breeze that heralds the end of the year, when the light must give in to the dark.
To complete the autumnal feast the orignal Samhain Celebration song cycle was added, which complements the early material and advance it to a full-length duration. The recordings were thoroughly reinvigorated without losing their original appeal by Valkenstijn in May MMXX at his House of Inkantation.
The band stated: ‘Flowers of Evil‘, the new studio album from ‘Ulver‘, finds the wolf pack exploring the fear and wonder of mankind’s fall from redemption. Visions similar to those of Orsini come to mind, as untamed life abounds…’

Forged in the early 2000's, MARE has become quite the mysterious gem for underground fanatics across the globe. Rarely playing live and with hard to get releases, the band has become, for many, one of the few 'real' Black Metal bands out there left in todays oversaturated scene. To many they have seemed to do so on purpose, but for us working closely with the band it is simply in their nature not to bother. They make music for themselves, they do this for themselves, and rest assured MARE will genuinely keep going down their own path never caring about hypes, fashion, trends or fame. They arrogantly named their own music 'Nidrosian Black Sorcerous Art' which defines who they are, on stage and off stage.
This isn't a show, this isn't a gimmick.
Six years have gone by already since Lys Noir, and at last Monarque breaks the silence. While the work on his new full-length continues, Jusqu’à la Mort offers a taste of things to come, and proves beyond any doubt that the sovereign of Québec Black Metal has lost none of his luster. As soon as the first notes hit, this is unmistakably Monarque, soaring to new levels of his very own brooding, emotional breed of Black Metal. A Grand return…

Death Gifted a Bouquet is the second CD by Maine based Atmospheric Black/Epic Funeral Doom Metal giants, Great Cold Emptiness
It follows the story of a grieving mother living in solitude in the middle of a large autumn forest and the straining relationship she has with her daughter. Conceptually, it follows the daughter's understanding of living a fatherless life, with the father abandoning his family for worldly pursuits, the mother's descent into self-inflicted violence and alcoholism, and the importance of a man to be the protector of his household. Throughout, the daughter must decide if she wants to follow the same paths as the rest of her family or to forge her own. Themes such as hard work, family unity, corruption of the soul, humility & dignity, enlightenment through suffering and the beauty of frontiers are prevalent here.
