Handful of Stars is the eighth full-length album by Drudkh, released in 2010.
The guitar sound on this album is significantly cleaner than that on any previous album the band had released, with the exception of the band's folk album Songs of Grief and Solitude. Critics and fans noticed a strong influence from post-rock and such bands as Alcest.
Again, for lyrics was used the poetry of Ukrainian authors, such as Oleksa Stefanovych and Svyatoslav Gordynskyj.
For fans of HATE FOREST, IMPERIUM DEKADENZ, BURZUM, AGALLOCH.
Artwork by Fursy Teyssier.

With 'A Furrow Cut Short', DRUDKH are continuing on the course charted with their previous release 'Eternal Turn of the Wheel' (2012), where the black and bleak sound of the band's roots seemed to overshadow the progressive and lighter tone of 'Handful of Stars' (2010). Mastermind Roman Sayenko is heavily drawing inspiration from 20th century Ukrainian poetry once more, which often deal with the bloody struggle of this old country to build a nation from foreign oppression. DRUDKH still refuse any kind of interview or promotion and demand to be understood through their music alone. This album equally represents the blood soaked sound of black despair and full hearted resistance to vile treachery and evil as well as the beauty of landscapes and culture.
With the new album "They Often See Dreams About the Spring" DRUDKH's traditional black metal sweeps in like a cold wind from the East. Timeless frozen melodies adorn an uncompromising attack, creating yet another epic work from one of the genre's most important bands.
Drudkh deliver black metal poetry at its finest. Previously only available on split EPs with Hades Almighty, Grift and Paysage d'Hiver, the collection of songs gathered on ‘A Few Lines In Archaic Ukrainian’ is a must hear for any fan of the band’s work. Based on Ukrainian poetry and presented in a lush 10-panel Digipak, the tracks on this compilation perfectly combine harshness, epic melodies and a touch of folklore, transforming them into black metal masterpieces.
Legendary Ukrainian black metal project Drudkh is ushering in the cold darkness and alluring decay of autumn with its brand-new offering, ‘All Belong to the Night’.
While the album is only four songs, it rages on for over 45 minutes, delivering an epic maelstrom of grandiose melodies, devastating aggression, and the cold atmospheric passages that have come to define Drudkh’s unmistakable sound.
Crystal clear 12" vinyl (33 rpm) in deluxe gatefold (with wood grain laminate) with 12-page insert.
Limited to 550 copies worldwide.

DRUDKH have written one of the most successful underground Black Metal stories with their previous eight albums. Now “Eternal Turn of the Wheel” witnesses the Ukrainians returning to their atmospheric black roots, which are most loved by their dedicated following around the globe.
Gone are the progressive elements characterising their previous release “Handful of Stars” (2010). DRUDKH’s newest masterpiece owes more to their cult debut “Forgotten Legends” (2003) and the cinematic soundscapes of “Autumn Aurora” (2004) with some of the traditional influences rising on “The Swan Road” (2005). Fans of the slightly progressive “Blood in Our Wells” (2006) will also find their moments. Like the partly acoustic “Songs of Grief and Solitude” (2006) “Eternal Turn of the Wheel” offers a more melodic approach as the harsh “Estrangement” (2007) and ties in well with the widely acclaimed “Microcosmos” (2009) album.
DRUDKH offer Slavonic Heathen Metal at its best and the perfect soundtrack of winter!
