Third full length album of MGLA, "Exercises in Futility", is a continuation of bleak, dark and disillusioned MGLA style of black metal. It was meant to be most coherent recording to date, and also turned out to be the rawest one.

 

This album is a selection of live recordings taken between the years 2013 - 2022. It includes every song that at any point had been part of the live setlist. Each song comes from a different performance. Source material varies in fidelity and so does the sound. Selection serves to adequately represent the live iteration of Mgła and emphasize qualities present: increased aggression, palpable anxiety, tension and darkness.
