Night Sobbed a Potion Diseased

For the caves of hell fostered this cursed creation on a night like this.
Such terror as I dare not peer onto the former stone disfigurement since fathered by galvanism - I retched and heaved at the sight.
At once I felt a bitterness as the beast rose and pursed dead lips, darned in sinew.
Hate boiled abreast dazzling beakers that filled the laboratory.
Then, lament - for this weird fiend stared at me!
Lament passed away to grief, and grief to shame.
For you see, in milky wrinkled eyes I saw the anguish of a man whose eternal rest was quelled through no choice of his own.
