'Kingdom of Misery' is a reflection of the world we live in today.
A world drowning in fear, agony, suffering and decay.
A society imprisoned by the deception of their own minds.
Consumed by the falseness of one's own egotistical agenda.
We watch hopelessly as our planet deteriorates before our eyes.
Scandinavian in soil and spirit, "Hädanefter" is the harsh debut album of JORDFÄST. Steeped in both earthen melancholy and icy brutality, this rugged record originating from the realm of black metal pulls no punches; instead charging forth with ruthless melodies and pummeling, muscular grooves.
JORDFÄST's bleak voice is an ancient one, somberly contemplating the grievous disharmony in our existence, as the vast forces of nature dwarf the self-deceiving minds of mankind. From the Swedish forests, this long lost call carries out the wails of the past, reminding us that death is ever around us, in soil and spirit.
Originally released in 1992, Brutal Truth’s ‘Extreme Conditions Demand Extreme Responses’ was produced by the legendary Colin Richardson and is widely regarded as one of the most important and influential grindcore records of all time. Reissued for the first time ever with ‘Full Dynamic Audio’ this release is a must have for any fan of Grindcore.
On "Arete", NETHERBIRD return with their signature melodic black/death metal that has become their hallmark. It is deeply rooted in the Scandinavian underground legacy, yet delivered with a strong sense of feel and urgency, allowing these tracks to exude the confidence and songwriting prowess of a band at the peak of their craft. The album itself is the third installment of the trilogy that started on “The Grander Voyage” and continued on “Into the Vast Uncharted”. The journey has come to its completion with this album, where the very concept of Arete – the classic ideal of excellence – is scrutinized from various angles in these songs.
1993’s third studio album release of highly accomplished death metal from the UK legends.

With their sophomore album Imperative Imperceptible Impulse, Ad Nauseam took a step forward in terms of composition, musical structures and sound. Music is not intended as a mere sequence of riffs that sounds well one after the other, but is now a naturally ordered structure where almost every musical event refers to the past and/or predicts the future, generating very layered and complex patterns dominated by polyphony and polyrhythms and where each instrument has its own role and is essential in the whole. The music represents a merging of many different styles, the most prominent ones being extreme death/black metal, avantgarde, jazz, post-core, doom/sludge and ambient.
The composition process of Imperative Imperceptible Impulse has been heavily influenced by 20th century classical composers like Stravinsky, Šostakóvič, Xenakis, Scelsi, Penderecki and Ligeti, to name a few. Both the concepts of harmony and melody have been put into discussion to get a music where harmony is obtained by means of disharmony and melody by dissonances. To push this method even further, a unique tuning system has been conceived, to allow a new harmonic vocabulary and to eradicate the players from the comfort zone of the usual melodic patterns every guitar/bass player is used to.
