Songs talks about landscapes, cohabitation between man and nature, the music is deeply inspired by Cascadian black metal bands like Wolves in the Throne Room, Alda…
At times you might get the feeling that this is music being piped through from another time. It is music mercifully free of the tropes that trip us up and the trends that scratch on the grubby windows of the music scene.
‘Samoht Nara’ is music dedicated to the natural and listening to it feels like a rare, beautiful privilege.
 

With her sophomore album 'Wistful', multi-instrumentalist SYLVAINE is delving deeper into her characteristic ambient wall-of-sound landscapes that are painted by beautiful melodies, lingering guitar riffs, and atmospheres, which are all underlined by a solid groove.
The recordings for 'Wistful' were completed in renowned French Drudenhaus Studios in spring 2015. It was mixed and mastered by the same team as her first full-length during autumn and winter of 2015. The album features contributions by Stephen Shepard and Stéphane "Neige" Paut as session drummers as well as violinist Coralie Louarnika and cellist Thibault Guichard.

 

Formed in 1995 by Katatonia members, Jonas Renkse and Fred Norrman, OCTOBER TIDE spawned two, now-cult releases: "Rain Without End" (1997) and "Grey Dawn" (1999), before going on hiatus for over 11 years. Reunited in 2009, and since 2015 with a new full-time drummer Jocke Wallgren (Valkyrja, Astrophobos), the Swedes continue to push their vision of melodic death/doom metal to the next level. Executed with passion, the band's new album "Winged Waltz" is a showcase of what talent and expertise can bring to the table. OCTOBER TIDE are well-seasoned in their field of metal and are coming back in full swing, with their most emotionally charged material yet.

MATRICIDE is dead since 10 years now. Existing for a short period of time, it nonetheless left a notable legacy of "Black Mass Gathering" and "Holy Virgin". Yet the final recording of the band, an EP entitled "Morning Star", never made it to a physical release.

Originally it was intended to be unleashed via the legendary German label Sombre Records, but those plans were foiled by the death of the label owner and the EP was buried along with him.

Black vinyl, comes with a two sided insert in a thick cardboard jacket.
