Mythos’ ’Pain Amplifier’ album is shredding, Finnish death black Metal of the highest calibre. Featuring former Belial guitarist Jukka Valppu, Mythos burst onto the scene almost out of nowhere with one of the heaviest albums in extreme metal history. Mikko Laurila's vocals sound almost as if he literally vomited them forth, and the music is tight and surprisingly catchy considering the ultra brutal nature of the whole thing. Pain Amplifier was the only full-length from this band, this is a fitting monument to the annals of Death Metal history especially with the flowing melodicism of black metal. Originally released in 1995, recorded a Tico-Tico Studio in Kemi, Finland by Ahti Kortelainen (Impaled Nazarene, Sentenced, Wintersun). Special liner notes by Luxi Lathinen (journalist for the Metal Crypt since 1999) and new booklet design.
What would be the combination / hybride of Infernal Majesty and Blasphemy, two leading and intense extreme metal bands from Canada. And both are responsible for mile-stone albums in their genres. Well, when ex Infernal Majesty vocalist Brian Langley (also ex-Aggression, Canada) and guitar player Marco Banco (known as ‘The Traditional Sodomizer of the Goddess of Perversity’ from the cult Blasphemy album Fallen Angel of Doom....) joined to form band called Tyrants Blood, you will get close. This blasting death / black / trash metal band featuring Blasphemy / Infernal Majesty ex members released three full length albums and a handful of splits and ep’s. Vicrecords now re-issued the initially limited edition self-released third album ‘Into the Kingdom of Graves’ originally from 2013. Cover-art by Paolo Girardi (Firespawn, Aeon, Inquisition and Manilla Road) and liner notes by Brian Langley. Guest bass and mixed and produced by Martin Meyer (ex-Aggression, ex-Disciples of Power). Drums recorded by Terry "Sho" Murray (Infernal Majesty, 3 Inches of Blood).

Teratoma was formed in Germany 2020, consisting of members from four separate countries and boasting diverse musical backgrounds, but the death metal the band spews forth is streaked with all manners of bile and evil.
United in their love of classic, decidedly anti-modern death metal sounds, their debut release Purulent Manifestations contains a host of creepy-crawly riffs bolstered by a chunky rhythm section and packed into songs long enough to fit a few different gory diversions. Purulent Manifestations carries listeners along on a tide of momentum, indulging in primitive double-bass-driven savagery, but it also breaks away from these extremes to put them in context.
Throughout the record, there's a constant and welcome feeling of fun: from reveling in filthy tones to indulging in massive, ignorant grooves and wild solos, Teratoma's debut album is the work of musicians who love death metal in all its forms. As such, it's easy to recommend to even passing fans — even if you can't name what band might influence any given riff, it's easy to sense the energy and excitement Teratoma filled their album with.

This work of somber yet savage lycanthropy springs from the dark mind of Balam, best known for Pestilential Shadows. Rift first tentatively bayed at the moon in 2006 with the EP, ‘Eyes of the Basilisk’. Soon after in 2007, ‘To Quench the Thirst of Wolves’ was recorded but Rift lay like the beast, sleeping in the shadows – waiting for the lunar call to awaken in 2021 and finally be completed with the addition of vocals by A.S (Order of Orias). Now a duo, Rift is a beast that bares its jaws to the night sky with a sublime, seductive splendor; a howling madrigal of supremely epic and atmospheric, melodic Black Metal that ebbs and flows with a brooding menace while the vocals of A.S unleash a wolven savagery that simmers with a primal urge for blood. All framed by a somber tenebrous dusk, so evocative of the night, which blooms with magnificent full moon splendor as choral passages swell and soar, while atmospheric interludes beckon the darkest spectres and most unholy lusts that linger in the night while Rift thematically delves into the supernatural world, predominately lycanthropy and the legend of the werewolf.
