Fading is an atmospheric, psychedelic, approximately hour-long black metal journey inspired by a specific event: Witnessing seemingly endless migrating water fowl at a local wildlife refuge that supports the Pacific Flyway.
The album consists of one approximately hour-long song. All drums, vocals, and guitars were performed and recorded by A. Field recordings are from the Pacific Flyway refuge.

The roots of CHTHONIC CULT lay in both Berlin and Wroclaw, but those are merely earthly bindings, for the all-enveloping soundworld of I Am the Scourge of Eternity resolutely lays in the Beyond. Comprising four monolithic tracks, each one as aptly titled as the next, in a soul-draining 47 minutes, I Am the Scourge of Eternity is an orgiastic feast for the ears as well as eyes, drawing together bulldozing black metal, bestial death metal, and smokestacked doom metal into a hypnotizing whole. Utterly entrancing yet confidently confrontational, the vortextural maw CHTHONIC CULT creates is "head music" shot through with violence and dragged through the dirt of centuries.

Creating music is a process of divination, by which we may open portals to non-linear universes and commune with extra-dimensional entities. “Dream An Evil Dream” was just much created by AEVANGELIST, as it was created through AEVANGELIST. While others have tried and failed to convey the sense of 'ritual' through music, AEVANGELIST believe to have stumbled upon some alien source of pure evil, with a certainty that defeats reason and skepticism. Now, with this improvised piece of voidgazing, in throes of unimaginable despair, you too will find yourself among dark figures in the night that beckon you to dream, to dream an evil dream.

Ten years ago, Panopticon released Autumn Eternal – a record that captured the fleeting fire of the season and fixed it in sound. Amber-hued and windswept, it was both a lament for change and a hymn of hope for the road ahead.

The album marked the closing chapter of the trilogy begun with Kentucky (2012) and carried forward with Roads to the North (2014). Here, Austin Lunn wove black metal with threads of Americana, folk, and postrock into an immersive journey steeped in sadness, beauty, and transcendence. From the sweeping melancholy of 'A Superior Lament' to the rustic violin of Johan Becker and the somber cello of Nostarion, Autumn Eternal is a meditation on loss, memory, and the passage of time.

One of the best of the history of Black Metal is back.
Horna's ninth full length album. The Band's previous full length album "Askel lähempänä Saatanaa" was something of a throwback to mid '90s black metal classicism. By contrast, Hengen Tulet carries forward a similar songwriting aesthetic - surging 'n' swooshing speed, spiraling melody both majestic and malevolent - but reinvigorates a foul, fetid primitivism. It's still a supremely varied yet focused spin, compact (and caustic) as ever, but the headbanging, hard-charging tropes are surely a sign of HORNA's well-oiled machinery lately on the live front, where Spellgoth has cultivated no small amount of infamy for his penetrating performances.
