...and here it comes, available in two vinyl colors variations: this time we keep it simple and it will be available as transparent light cyan vinyls or transparent blue!
3rd print/3rd version.
6-panel regular digipak edition, with 12 pages booklet.
Here at Sidereal we take our commitment to Solar Fields very seriously.
This effort is now taking us towards one of Magnus Birgersson’s beatless albums, namely Altered - Second Movements.
Originally released in 2010 on a limited CD run and never reissued since, Altered is a reworked and beatless version of the album Movements, released one year before (and reissued by Sidereal in 2018). Such close connection can be seen in each track title, too, which clearly reminds of their original Movement version.
Altered is one of the many examples of Solar Fields ability to paint different moods, always maintaining a strong, recognizable personality. A darker, yet dreamy atmosphere permeates these eleven tracks, which wil find their way to wax for the first time ever.
"gold & orange" vinyl
The quest for a complete Solar Fields reissue collection continues here at Sidereal, and this time we bring back to light the first installments in Magnus Birgersson’s unfinished tracks archive.
Origin #01, originally released in 2010, was the first compilation of Solar Fields finished unfinished pieces. A series of audio stems born in various periods of time, in this case from 2002 to 2008, then completed and refined.
Such a genesis makes the Origin series something different in the Solar Fields catalog, as the usual consistency and unity of Magnus’s studio albums is nowhere to be found here, in favor of a multi-faceted, various and fragmented approach. Every track is completely different from the other, and you never know what’s lying behind the next corner. Every note sounds 101% Solar Fields, but the spectre covered by Origin #01 was an entirely different width compared to what the Swedish producer released until that moment.

Long out of print, Blue Moon Station is the second full-length album by Swedish producer Magnus Birgersson, aka Solar Fields.
These eleven songs were originally released in 2003, and helped building and shaping Solar Fields signature soundscapes. Ambient wide spaces intertwined with synthetic beats (“Infection 268-7”) and off-planet drones (“Magnetic Air”), peacefully accompanying you through extra-vehicular activities on Blue Moon Station, wherever in the galaxy it may be.
Sidereal will bring Solar Fields sophomore album to a new life re-releasing it on CD with a completely renewed artwork, as well as bringing it to a (double) vinyl version for the first time ever in two stunning colors in July 2021.
Blue Moon Station comes in a new life also in its audio content: not only a beautiful new artwork and charming vinyl colors, but a huge remastering job done by Robert Elster at Elster Mastering Studio will feed the picky audiophile’s hunger
Time to pack your bags and leave for Blue Moon Station. It’s going to be a wonderful trip.
Originally released in 2007 and never reissued, Earthshine is Solar Fields trance album. On his fifth studio record, Magnus Birgersson took a detour and explored the nooks of psytrance music, crafting his own version of it.
On Earthshine, Solar Fields typical ambient soundscapes are just part of the equation, now enriched with upbeats dancing melodies.
Fourteen years later, Sidereal brings Earthshine back to light and gives these eight tracks a wax treatment for the very first time. Come join Solar Fields upbeat trip across our planet

Origin #02 features a collection of musical tracks and ideas that Magnus initially began crafting between 2003 and 2009. It wasn't until 2012-13 that he meticulously curated these tracks and embarked on a creative journey to bring them to completion. This album offering a diverse yet coherent palette of soundscapes and emotions.
Warm groovy rhythms set the pace while we drift through deep electronica washed by waves of ethereal pads and mesmerizing melodies.
The overarching concept of the Origin series is to breathe new life into previously unfinished musical pieces, allowing them to finally emerge into the world, free from obscurity.
Written and produced by Magnus Birgersson in Studio Jupiter, Gothenburg, Sweden and remastered by Robert Elster in 2023.
