In this 5 tracks album, Wlad Drakksteim managed to mix crunchy and surprisingly groovy guitar riffs with weird and vicious growling vocals. Tracks like “Returning To My Old Battlegrounds” or “War Funeral March” are definitely a perfect example of VLAD TEPES‘s various and prolific discography.

This demo was previously released officially on tape by Black Gangrene back in 2016 and now these special editions on vinyl and cd bring the ultimate consecration to a brilliant tribute to the most haunting manifestation of Black Metal.
Tracks 1 - 4 & 8 (CD1) were originally released on the Torgeist/Vlad Tepes "Black Legions Metal" split-CD (Drakkar Productions DKCD002). Tracks 2 - 7 (CD2) were originally released on the Vlad Tepes cover demo named "Black Legions Metal" too.
Tracks 1-4 are from demo tape "The Return of the Unweeping I".
Tracks 5-9 are from demo tape "The Return of the Unweeping II".

All songs taken from the split CD, Vlad Tepes/Belketre "March to the Black Holocaust" originally released in 1995 by Embassy Prod.
This one pretends to be released by a Romanian label, in 1996. LP was pressed in 2003 in several different colors, each supposedly limited to 107 or 113 copies, but this information is most certainly false.
Good sound quality recording and nice artwork.
