KrvL is back with a vengeance, with a descent into the abyss, a journey through despair, desolation, emptiness and little hope.
Set in a world teetering on the brink of collapse, "Tidal Passages" is a deeply emotional Album that explores the fragility of human connections amidst global disaster
"Through Sun and Stone'' covers the topic of loss and fate in a stoic approach. The mythology of "The Three Fates" Clotho, Lachesis and Atropos guides the album into a humble, concise journey through loss, grief and life beyond death. Following the loss of a close friend, Abyssielle evokes on this album a world beyond the grave on a cosmic level, beyond the conflict and strife of our current world. Ethereal nuances, black metal soundscapes and pulsating post-punk bass lines create the balance between melancholy and intensity.

Still Wave was born from the deep outer space, in a future past of void and broken feelings, to play violently post romantic, epically desperate swansongs for lovers.
Sing along.
Hold your heart.
And smile while you fall.
Through three acts (Olas, Céfiros, and Llamaradas), Kréen presents a sonic journey that takes us from the depths of the sea to the vast plains, exploring Chilote immigration, nature, death and mourning, resistance against oppression, and a profound reflection on legacy and memory. Their lyrics, infused with poetry, capture the very essence of life in this remote region, while their enveloping music blurs the boundaries of genre, even transcending into the folklore of their territory, emerging as a tribute to the tenacity of the Patagonian spirit. It is a homage to the land and its inhabitants, an affirmation of resistance and hope amidst adversity.
Reverb On Repeat is a shoegaze band formed by musicians from Trna, Rye, Somn and Olhava. Forced to be in different countries and record music remotely, the band set on to create songs of an indescribable feeling of close-knit loneliness.
Sonorous, sorrowful and stately, the band has built a liminal space all their own at the most melancholic and trance-inducing intersection of post-punk, shoegaze, goth rock and blackgaze.
This is an album for the eternal sleepless in spectral cities at grey dawn. The romanticism of the heart, imbalance of the head, winding path to the fall. A definitive statement in isolated dreaming.

Chicago-based progressive death metal band ABSCISSOR combines styles of post rock, post metal, deathcore, and the avant-garde.
"Metanoia", the debut album, represents the ache for growth in the midst of turbulence. A tale of memory and heart, that speaks to experiences we’ve all had as human beings.
Evergarden is the duo of Kyle Palmanteer and Nate Mast, plus the great help of vocalist Justin Gregorio (courtesy of Gloomchild). The band fuses much of the atmospheric and ambient stylings of modern blackgaze bands, such as Deafheaven, Lantlôs, Olhava, etc., but with a much stronger emphasis on their post-hardcore influences.
All of which shines in the four monumental songs of debut album "In Light". Songs that form a flux of feral and raw emotions, floating seamlessly through utter despair and ecstatic beauty.
"Mente Captus" is Latin for "captured in the mind" (from which the Italian term "mentecatto" is derived), an expression used by the Romans to refer to a person with limited ability to act due to mental infirmity. Today, it is mostly used in an extended and generic sense (similar to "foolish," "senseless," or "stupid") as an insulting or contemptuous title or severe reprimand. The album's title encapsulates the central concept of the album: each song, in its own way, explores different human follies, both big and small. Madness can manifest in imposing forms like war or in daily dependencies, such as excessive and compulsive smartphone use. Although the term is commonly associated with people of low social status, "mentecatti" are not just individuals marginalized in society; often, the true "mentecatti" are those who hold power. Their madness has the power to inflict considerable harm on a social, political, and environmental level, compromising the balance and stability of humanity as a whole. These powerful "mentecatti," driven by unbridled ambition and selfish interests, can cause inequalities, conflicts, exploitation of natural resources, and environmental destruction. The title "Mente Captus" thus represents a critical reflection on the nature of human follies and how they are conceived and misclassified, subservient to the ever-increasing ego of humanity, reverberating in every aspect of our existence.
Somewhere between Rozz Williams' sepulchral chants, classic doom metal and modern post-punk/shoegaze, there live Moonoises and their first album SHE - THE VOID.
"Wadera" is a concept album inspired by the Polish horror film "The Wolf" (1983) and the short story "Wadera" (1977) by Jerzy Gierałtowski.
The album is a musical story about revenge from beyond the grave, told in the spirit of dark romanticism. The word "wadera" comes from hunting vocabulary and means a female wolf.
In order to achieve a 19th century atmosphere, the album was captured with traditional equipment and microphones - without the use of any plugins or samples during recording.
We also utilized more than a hundred-year-old instruments, such as zither or hunting horn. The goal was to make "Wadera" sound like an old film tape.

Doom/Black Metal from Switzerland Echoes of a desolated world resonating in a blend of melodic doom and extreme metal.
Ephemeral's debut album "Into Being" is a vivid tale of gloom and radiance. Musically anchored into a rich, layered and timeless progressive/dark-folk, with lyrics inspired by English literature from various centuries as well as by reflections on human longing, growth and nature. In the band's own words: "Each song, in its own way, deals with the shedding of one’s old skin for a new one, following the path toward the unknown, and the beauty of letting go to give rise to new beginnings within the cyclical nature of life".
Taking off from the legacy left by bands such as Lifelover or Grey Waters / Autumn's Dawn, on their debut full-length Defaitism leaps even further into contaminating their DSBM roots with emotive indie-rock melodies and mannerisms.
The result is an album that is as catchy as it's desperate, songs launched in a breathless run full of memorable hooks, riffs and refrains. No gimmicks, no hype, just the raw and timeless power of songs crafted with care and genuine emotion.

On their second full-length album, the russian four-piece band VARHARA steers toward a radical change in style compared to their debut “Осы“ (2021). While firmly rooted in the dense and contemplative post-black stylized by russian bands such as SOMN, Rozh and Olhava, “Пустоцвет” (Voidflower) is filled with gothic-doom overtones, balancing on the dreamy, light and heavier sides of black metal. Full of sorrow and of hope, escapism from a reality too bleak to be accepted.
