Selling CD, Vinyl, DVD, Merchandise and Second hand - Extreme Metal and Dark music
MEFITIS is a dark metal endeavor dedicated to venturing the shadowy depths and desolate expanses of musical expression. Formed by Pendath and Vatha in 2007, Mefitis would from day one embody a metallic maelstrom intruding on the defined boundaries of extreme music. After some fallow years, the duo emerged to realize their dark metal vision with the 2019 full length Emberdawn. This record put forth their signature style of boundless songwriting across black and death metal, telling parables of degradation and savagery in both lyrics and the very music itself. The kindling now sparked, Mefitis returned in 2021 with their follow up in Offscourings. Here they would expand further on the possibilities of dark metal, exploring gloomier climes and thornier guitar arrangements. In addition, the band solidified a conceptual framework for the music to occupy, known as Skoria. In this parallel world out of time, the music, themes, and imagery could exist as ideas unto themselves rather than mere simulacra.
And so, Mefitis brings you their newest work: a duology in grey titled The Skorian // The Greyleer. Initially conceived as an experiment for analog tape, the new record is informed by the constraints and particular character of that medium. Every piece of sound you will hear was initially tracked to tape and then digitized and mixed by Mefitis. The dual title is indicative of the two halves, which were recorded in separate time spans and studio locations. However, The Skorian and The Greyleer are reflections of each other, and can be appreciated both in parts and in whole. Where past works looked outward to an ashen world, this new release contemplates its own crumbling edifice. It calls into question the very notion of one’s ‘self’ as an entity in thrall to its master. Witness now this loathing gallery, and join the grey.

JEWELCASE
Almost four years after the acclaimed Vsesvit, Ukrainian one-man atmospheric black metal band Severoth is back with a new studio album. Multi-instrumentalist Illia Rafalskyi took some time to gather his thoughts and introduce his latest work as follows.
“Originally, By the Way of Light was intended as the spiritual successor for Vsesvit. I started working right after Vsesvit was finished, I wanted to create something powerful, energetic but yet light and bright. Something which will inspire people to be better versions of themselves. And to remember that there is always hope.
Music was mostly composed and recorded at my home studio in Dnipro, Ukraine. Actively crafted from 2021 up until 23th february of 2022. And intended to be released somewhere in 2022. But on the 24th of February my family and I woke up at 4 am from the sounds of distant explosions… That is when the Russian invasive full-scale war against Ukraine started. And our lives changed forever…
For a full year since then I haven’t created a single note for this album and my mind was far from music, with exception of the second song, “Sons Of Steel Will”, for which I wrote lyrics in September 2022, inspired by the events of that period.
Later in 2023, after more than a year of ongoing war we moved to a safer place and I was able to finish the album. So, I’ve spent around half a year working and re-working the material. In the summer 2023 drums and missing vocals were recorded. Music and lyrics I wrote myself. Lyrics are in Ukrainian, but translations in English are featured in the booklet. The cover art and all inner illustrations were done by my wife Julia (UD).
I’m glad I have had the opportunity to finally finish this album and share it with the world.”
"Reuniting together on one supreme release, the exclusive songs that originally appeared on the 2012 split album with Monarque, and the four epic tracks that graced the 2016 split release with French black metallers ENDE, originally know as "Le Puits Des Morts". The dark hymn "Le Puits Des Morts" is featuring important figures of the Métal Noir Québécois scene as guest vocalists, including Athros (Forteresse), Blanc Feu (Cantique Lépreux / Chasse-Gallerie), Monarque (Monarque / Sanctuaire), Nordet (Brume d'Automne). It also features I. Luciferia from ENDE with guest backing vocals.
"Sous La Lune Noire" present some of their darkest and evil material, but also have epic and highly atmospheric moments."

"Monuments Anciens" is a collection of exclusive tracks along with instrumental demo recordings from Sorcier Des Glaces. Some of them were recorded back in 2001 on an old tape-recorder, which later versions of these songs ended-up on the third Sorcier Des Glaces album "The Puressence of Primitive Forests".
It also features exclusive tracks that were intentionally recorded with raw production in 2010/2011.
"Monuments Anciens" offers some of the rawest and very primitive Sorcier Des Glaces material, always picturing the black, cold & evil world SDG is known for".
Re-amping, & remastered at WSL studio by Patrick Guiraud.
New artwork by David Thierrée, and complete new layout.

"Sorcier Des Glaces' second offering to the mortal world was recorded just two years after the very first album, in August 1999. Nevertheless, the maturity of their sound and composition is perceptible. It's no longer a one-man band this time, involving Luc more extensively, who this time records all the drum parts and also participates in the elaboration of several keyboard parts. The infernal duo is officially up and running.
With its icy atmosphere and dark yet melodic compositions reflecting the northern forests of Quebec, "Moonrise in Total Darkness" defines a young band still in exploration mode. Certainly more raw in its aestheticism than the band's more recent material, but with an authenticity that has forged their identity over the years".

Snowland" is the very first chapter of Sorcier Des Glaces, the spark that made the original flame grow. This first draft was certainly very raw, tinged with innocence and spontaneity.
A blizzard had just broken out, in the eternal winter that had just set in.
Snowland is cold, really cold, pure, lo-fi in the extreme, achieving the very first goal of what Sorcier Des Glaces wanted to evoke in the eyes of the world. Expressing disgust with the human race by exiling himself to its own snowland, the melodies evoke a certain romanticism of the great Nordic forests. He is then alone to begin his reign on his night's throne.

"Ritual of the End" is the fifth conjuring from Sorcier Des Glaces. It represents the annihilation of the human race, through seven blackened incantations.
The sound of SDG evolved a lot on that album, getting heavier, faster and darker, but always retaining a strong melodic core.
Sorcier Des Glaces delivers again their Cold Primitive Metal sound straight from the northern forests of Québec. Feel the darkness that penetrates you...

Sargeist returns with an all-new entry into the black metal genre.
They take their sound and refine it into an unrelenting machine of darkness.
They keep all of their bass-lines that they're known for and amplify them into some of the best hearing in a long time. The guitar riffs are second to none. You seriously get the idea that Shatraug, Hoath Torog and Horns spent a lot of time sifting through different sounds and styles to try and find the best possible sound for this release. The drums, although sometimes a little too repetitive, sound top notch most of the time.
The band blends all these together to make some of the most melodic, dark and cold parts, to the most raw, brutal and intense parts.
Re-issue properly with a complete updated layout released with leading band member Shatraug himself as supervisor.
