Lucifer's Child originates from Athens, Greece. Its music is a bridge to the world of atmospheric black metal, and a vessel for spiritual self-expression through lyrics. The goal of unifying these two elements gleamed clearly in the eyes of George Emmanuel, a prolific guitarist primarily known for his work as part of Rotting Christ (and a former guitarist of Chaostar), when he formed the band together with bassist Stathis Ridis (a member of another long-running Hellenic metal unit, Nightfall) in 2013. Born from a partnership between two talented musicians, the duo quickly expanded to take in vocalist Marios Dupont (Karma Violens) and drummer Nick Vell (Chaostar), and delivered their debut album, "The Wiccan", in 2015. Encouraged by the album's keen reception, followed by several festival appearences (incl. Inferno Festival, Blastfest and Incineration Festival), LUCIFER'S CHILD returns in a darker, more extreme shade, passionate in outperforming its bold debut.
"The Order" was recorded, mixed and mastered in Emmanuel's own recording studio, Pentagram, and features cover artwork by Daniele Valeriani (Dark Funeral, Dissection, Mayhem).

With a sound characterized by epic atmospheres, progressive immersion and an old-school diehardness, "The Crimson Temple" marks the seventh installment from Greek trailblazers VARATHRON, known to be amongst the pioneers of the Hellenic Black Metal genre. The band's iconic vocalist Stefan Necroabyssious, who's been at VARATHRON's helm for the last 35 years, and whose "lust for unholy creations" has only ever gotten bigger and better, reflects, that "The Crimson Temple" has seen the band commit its unyielding devotion and uncompromising passion to every fine detail; from the album's meticulous production, mixing and mastering at Achilleas Kalantzis's Suncord Audiolab, to its rich visual side, designed and painted by Paolo Girardi.
"The album consists of 10 tracks in an epic, 46 minute ride into the depths of our deranged vision," comments band's leader Stefan. "As always, we shall never forget to express our eternal gratitude for your overwhelming support all these years. We are most eager to share everything with you!"
The opus arrives five years after "Patriarchs Of Evil"; a refreshing effort, which took many of the 2018's best-of hard rock & metal lists by storm, set the anticipation for "The Crimson Temple", and found VARATHRON's creative potential and musical zest on par with 1988 - the year it had all began. The band's line-up remains unchanged with Stefan Necroabyssious on vocals, Achilleas C on guitars & keyboards, Sotiris on guitars, Stratos on bass and Haris on drums.

A stranger to time, space or any geographical scene, Monte Penumbra returns with might and main: a full-length entitled “As blades in the firmament”. An opus for the Antagonist, ranging from vicious Black Metal to eerie ambient sections, beseeching the abyss and rejoicing at the antipode of the Sun. “As blades in the firmament” has been composed by W.uR and feeds off an ancestral sense of fatalism, intertwined with the triumphant emblems of Death, in a ceremonial attack upon heavenly ardour. Unlike its forerunners, it features Bjarni Einarsson (Sinmara / Rebirth of Nefast) on drums, in place of Mons Vcnt. The latter nevertheless contributed essential elements to the album: its visuals. Bjarni Einarsson’s drumming on the album is overwhelmingly the result of his creative freedom. The drums were recorded at Studio Emissary (Iceland) and the rest of the elements were crystalized during various sessions in Portugal. All tracks were mixed and mastered at Studio Emissary by Stephen Lockhart.
By their hammer let none be saved – Misþyrming return to lay down the law. Með hamri is the sound of the iron heel of Black Metal trampling the face of musical modernity.
Með hamri is deeply saturated with the vibrantly alive energy that Misþyrming capture so effectively on stage. The drums sound organic and powerful, the guitar distortion has a vicious bite, and D.G.’s vocals are as brutal and evocative as ever. The underlying spirit is one of action. There is melancholy, bitterness, and filth, but one of the album’s foremost characteristics is its relentless surge of determination. Never before have Misþyrming sounded livelier and more confrontational.
