Hailing from Chile, Lascar is back with their sophomore release, “Saudade”, an album that moves exactly along the lines of its illustrious predecessor (“Absence”, 2016), underlining once again the band’s naturalistic approach and marking a perfect syncretism of those feelings of loss, fragility and desperation that have always been LASCAR’s trademark.
Their emotional post-black metal offers a unique interpretation of the apparent conflict on the naturalistic experience. The “Saudade” implies a sense of abandon and a nostalgic mourning manifested within an artistic environment.

The second album by Soijl, a project founded by the Swedish multi-instrumentalist Matthias Svensson (Saturnus, Istapp, Vanmakt, Nidrike). Continuing the development of figurative ideas and the musical component of the debut work, "As The Sun Sets On Life", at the same time, is a new stage for the band. Gloomy, atmospheric doom death metal compositions with a dense sound and excellent performance are what Soijl is loved for, and this is exactly what the musicians offer in their new work, in a more spectacular form this time. The famous designer and photographer Roman Kamin (Wine From Tears, Mare Infinitum, Aut Mori) have been again responsible for the visual part of the album crafting a magnificent 12-page booklet.

Thematically and sonically, BardSpec is about minimising, subtracting and meditating upon the simplest essence of “things”; the single points: exemplified through the song titles, like “Bone”, “Salt” and so on, the basic elements and foundations that make up the whole. There is an element of "space" in the music, and the artwork, as a representation of the inner workings of the mind and the subconscious.

Inspired by the German masters Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schultze, Conrad Schnitzler as well as contemporary ambient music like Norwegian one-man-band Biosphere and abstract modern electronic music like When (Norwegian also), as well as the electronic/industrial-driven metal like Godflesh.

On their fifth studio album Seelenfrost process the life, experiences which get collected while aging. Thoughts, longings, decisions which were made, to query them until the final the transition from the realm of the living into the realm of the dead.

When Sinister split up in 2003 vocalist (and former drummer) Aad and Sinister guitarist & bass player Alex Paul wanted to continue playing death metal somehow. They started the new band ‘No Face Slave’. The songs they wrote were so close to Sinister so they restarted SINISTER together with drummer Paul Beltman (Weapons To Hunt, ex Judgement Day, Supreme Pain). During 2004 and 2005 they recorded 4 demo tracks. These four tracks formed the SINISTER demo 2005. That demo led to a renewed record deal with Nuclear Blast records. And up till now seven full lenghts studio albums from 2006 up till now.
