Info : Forged in the underground of Romania, RUYNED unleash their most ferocious and unrelenting material, Profanum Sacrificium, a blasphemous speed metal assault infused with elements of black, thrash, heavy metal.
The Intro sets the calm before the storm. From the ripping assault of “Speedchain” to the depraved madness of "Sex'N Speed" and “Sex Commander 666”, going through the sinister tale of “Vampire of Düsseldorf” inspired by Peter Kürten, RUYNED channel raw violence and decadence in its purest form.
From “Daemonium Ritualis” onward, the record descends into a dark conceptual journey through the European witch hunts of the 15th–17th centuries. Through Profanum Sacrificium, Malleus Maleficarum and Witches Gallow, the band conjures a world of fire, mysticism and ritual death.
The closing Outro retells this tale as a melody sung by a bard at a royal banquet.

Legatum Mortuorum, the second full-length from Desiccation, confronts death, grief, and oppression through relentless riffs and haunting atmosphere.
Hailing from Nevada City and Sacramento, California, Desiccation was formed in 2022 by husband and wife team of James (Guitars, Vocals, Synths) and Soell Bratt (Vocals), along with Patrick Hills (Drums, Bass, Synths, Background Vocals). The band combines a unique mix of Doom, Death, Black, and Post-Metal to portray a bleak world in which shards of hope glimmer amid the wasted aftermath of collapsing nations and burning ecosystems.
Inspired by the absorbing sounds of bands like Emperor, Evoken, and Blut Aus Nord, Desiccation builds on their 2022 debut, Cold Dead Earth, adding deeper layers of synth over more aggressive Black / Death riffing. Familiar elements of emotive melody and Sludgy Death-Doom are strengthened by a solid Extreme Metal backbone. The band blends non-dual elements: blasting drums and tremolo-picked guitars give way to spacious, slow riffs and sprawling synths. Lyrically, themes of loss and grief are intertwined with moments of transcendence and connection. Aggression and beauty, hope and hopelessness, are woven together to translate inner experience into the outer world. With Legatum Mortuorum, Desiccation focuses on Doom-driven weight and patience emphasizing space, and repetition; atmospheric extremity that is rooted in Black and Death Metal. Ritual, grief, and transcendence expressed through layered sonic atmospheres.
Rahaty is the alter ego of Belarusian raw black metal tomb-walker Pa Vesh En, here wielding the unholy hellfires of death metal's most deranged and enigmatic frontier. Convergent evolution through common origin and a shared creative reclusiveness, have ensured the preservation of Pa Vesh En's familiar sonic septic fog, but far more violent intents have ensured the gruesome rise of Rahaty through unceremonious realms of brutality. Here proclaimed is thus an unholy conquest within death metal's most pestilent drift, disgorged from beyond the shreds of sanity. Putrid atmospheres drenched in sickness. Downpours of death-reeking riffs collapsing into mangled, deformed aberrations. A tectonic rhythm section rupturing into seismic deflagrations, and a bestial vocal regurgitation retching obscenities through the disemboweled carcass of oblivion. Where Drawn and Quartered, Profanatica, and Imprecation had already established a violent frontier for death metal's most vile instincts, Rahaty extends that wretched shadow further, tracing the ghastly lineaments of death metal's most violent and deranged deviations.
Eight years after the acclaimed Slow Motion Death Sequence, Norwegian experimental visionaries Manes return with To Burn Is To Shine, their sixth full-length album and the beginning of a new chapter in a career defined by fearless artistic evolution. Since their inception in Trondheim in 1992, Manes have consistently refused to remain confined within stylistic boundaries. Emerging from the early Norwegian black metal underground with the cult debut Under Ein Blodraud Maane, the band soon embarked on a remarkable transformation that culminated in the landmark Vilosophe, an album that would become one of the defining statements of avant-garde metal. Throughout the following decades, Manes have continued to blur the lines between metal, dark electronica, alternative rock, trip-hop and experimental music, developing a sound that remains unmistakably their own.
To Burn Is To Shine also features contributions from several distinguished guests, including Ana Carolina Skaret (Mourning Sun), Eskil Blix (Djevel, Vemod), Marita Hellem (Enevelde), Rune Folgerø (Atrox, Drontheim) and Tom Christian Engelsøy (Drontheim), while Vegar Larsen (Whoredom Rife) performs drums on two tracks. The striking visual identity of the album has been created by New York-based designer Michael Houtz, whose handcrafted artwork extends across the physical editions and accompanying merchandise.
Rooted in a sombre, tragic and epic expression of Doom-infused Melodic Black Metal, “Cursed Songs from the Garden of Twilight” carries a style hard to link to other specific bands. THE SCARS IN PNEUMA (brought forth by Lorenzo Marchello, ex-Kolony Records) blends stunning melodies and dramatic atmospheres, interweaving them within structures balanced between slow/fast-paced rhythms and haunting interludes, resulting in a continous unfolding of compositional details. Cavernous growling vocals float above the instrumental flow, enhancing the stream of emotions in intensity.
