Nihilistic Estrangement", FORGOTTEN TOMB's tenth studio album, opens a new chapter in the enduring history of the band and at the same time celebrates it through its stylistically eclectic tracklist which includes nods to the band's whole back-catalogue; from its early, depressive black metal roots (a genre FORGOTTEN TOMB was crucial in defining) to eerily dark blues/rock passages and finally exploring different shades of extreme doom.
The album is enriched by retro-elegance thanks to the vintage analogue techniques that were used in the studio during its recording process, giving it a timeless appeal. "Nihilistic Estrangement" is a highly refreshing album that perfectly captures the very essence of FORGOTTEN TOMB
‘Out from the Dark’ features a rare & ferocious rehearsal from the Mayhem archive which was recorded back in 1989 and is a chance to hear tracks from the quartet’s early years in all their raw and brutal glory, including classics such as ‘Freezing Moon’, ‘Funeral Fog’ & ‘Deathcrush’. The band would embark upon a serious of live shows in Norway and Germany the following year which would eventually go down in black metal legend, with those recordings also now immortalised.
Now reissued also on CD ad.
ENEPSIGOS was started in 2016 by V.I.T.H.R and Thorns, at the time to be a studio Project. Shortly after Straff joined on guitars, and they began writing and recording their debut album "Plague Of Plagues".
The album was well received in the underground, but the band itself felt they hadn`t really established what was to be ENEPSIGOS. After the album the band parted ways With Straff, which was replaced by Rituul. Immediately they started working on their sophomore album, now to manifest what ENEPSIGOS really is, and shall be. Dark, disgusting, twisted, ritualistic and violent.
With intro and interludes by Alexander Wolf and V.I.T.H.R, vocals, guitars and bass for "Wrath Of Wraths" were recorded at the Bergegarda Studios in Norway, whilst drums were recorded at the Beastcave Studios in Italy. Mixed and mastered by Tore Stjerna at the Necromorbus Studios in Sweden, and with artwork by Benjamin Vierling and additional inlay artwork by Nestor Avalos.
Unanimated’s third studio album – finally available again, on both LP and CD! After their legendary 2nd album “Ancient God Of Evil” (1995), one of the best Swedish Melodic Black/Death Metal albums of all time, it took Sweden’s Unanimated 14 years to release another album, and what a beast it turned out to be! “In The Light Of Darkness” (2009) displays the band’s rougher, more brutal side, while still incorporating their trademark sound and addictive songwriting. The album was produced by Tore Stjerna (Watain, Mayhem, Tribulation). It features guest musicians such as Sebastian Ramstedt (Necrophobic, Ex-Nifelheim), Erik Wallin (Merciless) and Set Teitan (Ex-Dissection, Ex-Watain) and the layout was created by Erik Danielsson (Watain), a long time fan and close friend of the band. The 180gr LP contains an unreleased bonus track: a re-recorded version of the song “Blackness of the Fallen Star” which had originally appeared on their debut album “In The Forest Of The Dreaming Dead” (1993). Furthermore the LP features a gatefold sleeve and a 4page booklet containing the lyrics as well as liner notes by Chris Dick (Decibel Magazine, US) based on an interview with bass player and songwriter Richard Cabeza he conducted in 2019.
