Solanum was founded by B.S. back in 1997 after Depressive Silence split up. Compared to Depressive Silence Solanum's concept is more cosmic and its sound has a different, rather uplifting and more futuristic atmosphere, but like Depressive Silence the Solanum demos are genre classics and provided a considerable influence for later Dungeon Synth and Cosmic Black Metal projects.

Living Is Easy represents a significant new statement from the band. With their debut self-titled, Agriculture embarked on a journey to explore how heavy music can provide insights into the joys of life, both everyday and divine. Their extensive touring with this material led to a profound experience of ecstasy, surpassing expectations as they shared the intensity and joy of these songs with audiences worldwide. This experience was a catalyst for the band, inspiring them to delve even deeper into the realm of “ecstatic black metal” music. They believes that with this release they have pushed this concept to its limit, resulting in a transformative explosion of sound and meaning.
The record delves into themes of community connection, holiness, violence, and the cycles of life. The title track is especially notable, featuring a retelling of a story from one of the Buddha’s past lives. In this narrative, the Buddha encounters a starving family of tigers and sacrifices himself to save them, a tale of serenity and selflessness. This story resonates deeply with the band, reflecting the humility and inspiration they find in their collaboration and echoing the generosity and interconnection they strive to explore through their music.
Touring holds a special place in the heart of Agriculture. It brings them immense joy to share their music, visit new places, and meet new people in cities around the world. This constant interaction with diverse audiences serves as a continuous source of inspiration for this work. Agriculture is eager and excited to share Living Is Easy as well as give new life to the first vinyl pressing of The Circle Chant.

Unleashed Hymns is the second album from the Norwegian artist Fjøsnisse.
The one-man project was launched last year by vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Anders Vada.
This album it’s released on vinyl for the first time.
They are a good example of very well executed Norwegian black metal with thrash metal elements.
Great vocals, thrash metal style abrasive riffs and relentless drumming there is actually a fair bit of ambiance and melody on here.
All the tracks have a very balanced amount of both melodic and harsh elements with smooth transitions in the guitar passages.
Then there is the beautifully serie and frostbitten instrumental The Wanderer, the closing song to what has been a very enjoyable album.
Unleashed Hymns is a cult-classic album, in particularly for those who enjoyed the bands that emerged as part of the Norwegian black metal scene in the 1990s.
A few de- cades later Fjøsnisse is continuing with the legacy.
Horror-aficionados HOUSE BY THE CEMETARY are rousing the undead once again with the sophomore album “The Mortuary Hauntings”!
With a tried-and-true formula of pummeling riffs and mid-paced Death Metal that throbs to herd a wall of zombies, Rogga Johansson (Paganizer, ex-Bone Gnawer, Massacre, etc) and Mike Hrubovcak (ex-Monstrosity, Azure Emote, ex-Vile, etc) cleverly disintegrate and reconstruct their love for Metal and old horror films; fortifying the two genres into an unwavering subculture hallmark but with a stylistic departure on their debut. “The Mortuary Hauntings” continues with the endearing worship of retro-Death Metal and the timeless devotion to cult horror-flicks.
Recorded by HOUSE BY THE CEMETARY with mixing duties shared between Ronnie Björnström at EAP Productions and Håkan Stuvemark at Necrotic Audio Productions with mastering also handled by Håkan Stuvemark. Evocative cover artwork by Columbian illustrator Felipe Mora (Critical Defiance, Consumption, Mortify, etc).

Finally the two HEXX cult ep’s ‘Quest For Sanity’ (1988) and ‘Watery Graves’ (1990) are re-issued. When guitarist / vocalist Clint Bower (Abscess / The Ravenous) joined HEXX in 1984, their style changed from power metal (as on their two first albums) into raw thrash almost death metal. The album was engineerd by John Marshall (Blind Illusion, Metal Church, Metallica live), all artwork was made by Kent Mathieu (Possessed, Forbidden, Exhorder, Autopsy). All artwork and audio files are fully restored. The album contains eight tracks in total.
5th album by one of the oldest and most respected Finnish Death Metal bands. Heavy, dark and raw Death Metal with an old sound. For lovers of BOLT THROWER, DEMIGOD, INCANTATION, ABHORRENCE, ASPHYX... |
