With „Des Mondes Staub“ Seelenfrost end their lunar cycle concept. Originally planned as one opus with the tracks from “?”, they became two supplementary albums. On their fifth studio album Seelenfrost process the life, experiences which get collected while aging. Thoughts, longings, decisions which were made, to query them until the final the transition from the realm of the living into the realm of the dead.

Mediabook with sticked in booklet of eight pages. The design itself is simply black, the pictures are in grey tones and white font. The cd is in a transparent cd-tray on the right, the sticked in booklet on the left side of the mediabook. The limitation is 500 pieces.

But let it be known that "professionalism" in no way should be conflated with mainstream ambitions, for this is still pure 'n' pristine BLACK METAL in all its monochromatic grandeur. More accurately, perhaps, Era of Threnody is the sound of NARGAROTH at the height of its powers, well rested from the studio hiatus and eager 'n' emboldened by an upcoming European tour with Absu and Hate.

Season of Mist

When Sinister split up in 2003 vocalist (and former drummer) Aad and Sinister guitarist & bass player Alex Paul wanted to continue playing death metal somehow. They started the new band ‘No Face Slave’. The songs they wrote were so close to Sinister so they restarted SINISTER together with drummer Paul Beltman (Weapons To Hunt, ex Judgement Day, Supreme Pain). During 2004 and 2005 they recorded 4 demo tracks. These four tracks formed the SINISTER demo 2005. That demo led to a renewed record deal with Nuclear Blast records. And up till now seven full lenghts studio albums from 2006 up till now.

Coverart by Roberto Toderico (Asphyx, Soulburn). The booklet contains rare pics and an exculsive in depth interview done by Pim Blankenstein (ex Lords of Metal journalist and Officium Triste vocalist) with founding member Aad Kloosterwaard
