YERÛŠELEM is the newest entity created by Vindsval and W.D.Feld (BLUT AUS NORD).
The project’s name speaks of an incalculable vastness of contemplation within: YERÛŠELEM’s sound is a congruent melding of powerfully bass-heavy Godfleshian clank and grind, the sacred ur-texts of Coil and Autechre, stark neo-gothic guitar leads with intimations of fusion, the freshness-into-fetid-air experimentation of back-end ‘90s Mayhem and Thorns, post-punk urbanity, psychedelic dreamgaze, subterranean industrial pulses and the crunching rhythmic crispness of modernist electronica.
“Lost Empyrean” is as dynamic and multi-faceted as it is crushing and furious. Like the crashing of waves, sludgy, doom-laden riffs ebb and flow into calm ambience and sonorous post-metal atmosphere. Dour roars relax into despondent clean vocals and spoken word. With their latest masterpiece, DIRGE weave a tapestry of fluid contradictions. Melodic and dissonant, hopeful and desperate, tranquil and tempestuous, “Lost Empyrean” is not simply a record to be heard, but to be surrendered to.

The mighty ARCHGOAT, one of the most revered hordes in Finnish Black Metal, is back with a new bestial and ritualistic album and they have lost none of their original ferocity. "The Apocalyptic Triumphator" is a monstrous collection of cavernous psalms to Lucifer, a glorious affront to Christianity embedded in a sinister sonic environment.
The new abomination from these distinguished defilers of Christianity bears the true seal of authenticity. "The Apocalyptic Triumphator" sounds like a diabolical pact with the darkest form of Artistic Creation. With no quarter asked and none given, this is primitive music, raw and perverted, in its most hellish form.
The legendary MANES return with "Slow Motion Death Sequence", the most fully realised manifestation of the inimitable vision they first unveiled on 2003's "Vilosophe".
The band continue to riff on late 90s’ progressive experimentation of the Norwegian metal avant-garde (In The Woods, The 3rd and the Mortal, Solefald, Ulver), deftly weaving the left-field oddity of that period through hook-ridden pop music and tripped-out electronica.
