From the depths of Norway looms a new rising beast of hate and misanthropy in the form of Avmakt, featuring members of Aura Noir, Obliteration, Condor. Speaking about Avmakt’s music, vocalist Christoffer Bråthen said “Abstract and concrete as asphalt, processed through life as blood and ash, these riffs have seeped through the bottomless psychic wall. The themes are futureless and true to who we really are – clean and clear as disease.” Avmakt are: Christoffer Bråthen - guitars, vocals, bass Kristian Valbo - drums, vocals, bass

A DEEP, INNOVATIVE & ECLECTIC CONCOCTION OF NORTHERN MAJESTY, FOR THE SEVENTH STUDIO OPUS IN THE MORK SAGA, AS THE BAND MARKS THE MILESTONE OF TWENTY YEARS OF EXISTENCE.
Following on from mastermind Thomas Eriksen’s self-titled Udåd project debut earlier this year; a dark release which explored the more underground & murkier-sounding waters of primitive black metal from a by-gone era, ‘Syv’ emerges as the new pinnacle of Mork’s and Eriksen’s ever-evolving journey, as well as a creative expansion both sonically & compositionally over all prior works.

The 2004 album of high-calibre extremity from the French Metal masters.
This edition of Era Decay is on CD for the first time since its original release.
A powerfully dark and at times experimental opus.
Seth formed back in 1995 and is known as being among the primary acts in the French black metal scene, with their 1998 debut, ‘Les Blessures de L’Ame’ regarded as a landmark album and a cornerstone of French Black metal since its release on the then freshly-established label, Season of Mist, with Seth becoming firmly established as an internationally recognised act as a result.
Seth went on to release a further five studio offerings over the next twenty five years, branching out into other spectrums of extreme metal along the way before returning to the more grimly-atmospheric sounds of yore.
‘Era Decay’ was Seth’s fourth studio opus, originally surfacing in 2004, and continued to establish a more brutal integration of riffing & compositional styles and ideas which was indicative of the times, whilst also still retaining some blackened metal elements among more progressively technical ingredients. With a cleaner, more cutting production, this resulted in one of the band’s heaviest outputs, with some intricate riffs and melodies.

When SETH released their legendary debut “Les Blessures de l’Âme” in 1998 it was greeted with enthusiasm by reviewers and fans alike. The French combined harsh but melodic Black Metal with a well thought out concept on vampirism. The fiendish shrieks and rasps of vocalist Vicomte Vampyr Arkames combined with the fierce and cold buzzing of the crushing guitars delivered the ideal sound for their artistic expression. Brutal, dark and surprisingly catchy “Les Blessures de l’Âme” creates gothic atmospheres supported by intelligent keyboard textures. The album quickly gained the status of a cult classic that is hard to find as it is long sold out.
Norway’s Coffin Storm is a new band consisting of Apollyon (Aura Noir/Lamented Souls), Bestial Tormentor (Infernö/Lamented Souls) and Darkthrone’s Fenriz.
The trio's debut album Arcana Rising offers a powerful fusion of classic heavy metal, slow thrash and doom (a torrent of rousing, accomplished titanic riffing commandeered by Fenriz’s unmistakable vocal prowess).
----------
Arcana Rising contains six sprawling metallic epics covering the 45 minute running time, and was recorded at a variety of studios in the band’s native Norway, with work originally commencing back to 2021. With production overseen by Apollyon himself, ‘Arcana Rising’ truly channels & encapsulates the spirit of the 80s, with inspiration from such masters of metal as Candlemass, Pentagram, Metallica & early Kreator, with musical nods to early Paradise Lost & Cathedral from the more extreme side of the doom spectrum, as well as including traces of the DNA from Apollyon & Bestial Tormentor’s own prior work together with their cult doom act Lamented Souls, to create a sensational and majestic opus.
Mastered by Jack Control at Enormous Door (Darkthrone), the cover art appears courtesy of Polish artist Maciej Kamuda.

This edition of 'It Beckons Us All' is presented on black vinyl, with printed inner sleeve containing lyrics.
With a legacy of audial treasures now spanning more than 35 years & with the fountain of creativity ever flowing, Norway’s Darkthrone return with their latest venture through classic riffs & vintage sounding metal in the shape of the epic new seven track studio opus, ‘It Beckons Us All’.
Seeing the longstanding duo of Fenriz & Nocturno Culto uniting once more, ‘It Beckons Us All’ follows on the heels of 2022’s revered ‘Astral Fortress’ album, with what could be considered an even more refined, challenging & diverse set of timeless metal anthems from the uncompromising trailblazers; from the melodic, to the sombre & atmospheric, to the blackened dirges emanating from Darkthrone’s highly distinguishable riffing, as well as a nod to influences such as Celtic Frost along the way.
Recorded once again at Chaka Khan Studios in the band’s native Norway, ‘It Beckons Us All’ was mastered by Jack Control at Enormous Door, with artwork courtesy of Polish artist Zbigniew Bielak.
With an expansive catalogue consisting of a multitude of various genre classics, Darkthrone first arrived on the global stage with their atmospheric & technically accomplished death metal debut, ‘Soulside Journey’ back in 1991, followed by the milestone in black metal that is ‘A Blaze In The Northern Sky’ released only the following year, after the intended second album ‘Goatlord’ was essentially scrapped to make way for something more primitive & paving the way for Darkthrone’s close association with the black metal genre over many years. And so, with an endlessly progressing (and even regressing) evolution which has seen the band successfully delving into many sub-genres of metal & punk, ‘It Beckons Us All’ stands as one of the band’s most complete & vast works to date.
This edition of 'It Beckons Us All' is presented on Nocturno Culto’s own limited grey marble vinyl, with printed inner sleeve containing lyrics.
