This edition of 'In the Streams of Inferno' also includes a bonus DVD containing two live shows from 1996. 'Grotten', in Asker, Norway has until now been totally unknown to the masses except for the few that were present at the show. The other show is the more well-known Bradford, UK set from Mysticum's European tour with Marduk and Gehenna. Overall both gigs give a great glimpse into the pure atmosphere and intensity of this cult act. It is a must for all fans.

DARKTHRONE hanno annunciato l’uscita di “Goatlord: Original” il prossimo 10 febbraio su Peaceville Records. L’album viene presentato come la “forma originaria” di “Goatlord“, demo-album del 1996 che prosegue sulla scia death metal del debutto “Soulside Journey“.
Secondo quanto dichiarato dalla band, “Goatlord” doveva essere il secondo capitolo della discografia dei DARKTHRONE, ma i piani cambiarono con lo sviluppo di un sempre maggiore interesse verso sonorità black metal. Alcune parti composte originariamente per “Goatlord”, tuttavia, vennero utilizzate per l’effettivo secondo full length della band, “A Blaze In The Norhtern Sky” (1992).
“Goatlord: Original” include i brani originali composti per l’album in versione strumentale, registrati in sala prove, con in formazione Gylve ‘Fenris’ Nagell alla batteria, Ted Skjellum e Ivar Enger alle chitarre e Dag Nilsen al basso.
I pezzi sono stati recuperati dalle audiocassette originali in possesso di Fenriz, ed elaborati e rimasterizzati da Patrick Engel presso gli studi di Temple of Disharmony. L’artwork è a cura di Zbigniew M. Bielak.

From their formation back in 1986, to becoming one of Norways’s finest musical exports (with a number of highly revered black metal masterpieces released in the early 1990s helping to solidify their legacy), Darkthrone has continued to evolve and challenge in equal measure, throughout their illustrious recording career spanning over three decades. And now, the ever-productive duo of Nocturno and Fenriz continue their own metallic saga with a new selection of fine, vintage sounding headbanging classics in the making.
