The Spearwound Salvation blisters forth with an incredibly ripped-raw style of black metal that possesses a poignant, magical sort of melodicism. At once familiar and foreign, ULTRA SILVAM attack with urgency and emotion but always with an palpably human touch that spits in the face of so much sterile "extreme metal." Every ringing chord, every bashed drum, every slaughtered tongue: each and every note and movement across the album bleeds an authenticity that's refreshing to behold. And yet, that would all be for naught if the band didn't possess commensurate songwriting chops - and indeed they do here, all seven songs making swift, enviously compact work within The Spearwound Salvation's 28 minutes. Many of these riffs will possess you for days, if not weeks or months or... 

"It began with the disappearance of Belesa — the raven-haired beauty with jade colored eyes. Then others began to vanish! One by one, friends, loved ones and finally the children screamed out in the night and were lost... The coven of outcast musicians otherwise known as DUNJON MAGIK have fired up her cheap synthesizers to compose the soundtrack for "Sky ov Crimson Flame", a grim RPG adventure module released by Owl Knight Publishing. The work was carried out with the usual ecstatic rapture and the help of magical drinks capable of modifying the perception of reality.

Here you will find oblique melodies, sinister atmospheres, and macabre mood: fully in line with the horrors that this adventure module hides within its bloody pages!

Northern Heritage is proud to present new press of the Numinous self titled debut full length CD. Previously sold out album was remastered by Numinous in 2019. Added clarity, strength and force makes obvious there are exceptional qualities in the album. Now that especially guitar sound is clearer it underlines musical qualities that are present. Riffs, melodies and song structures of this mighty opus surpass basically any contemporary Finnish Black Metal efforts by far. Same could be said about international situation. Eternal is the third album from Scottish Celtic Metal project Ruadh. This album was designed to be Tom’s version of the 4 seasons by Antonio Vivaldi but focusing on the celebrations that mark the turning of the wheel of the year and their Pagan origins. It pays tribute to the timeless traditions that have survived however changed by modern times and is designed to celebrate our roots in these customs.

The goal of this album was to create a consistent concept that would serve for this one release, this is by very definition a Concept album which is intended to be listened to from start to finish, it won’t be an easy one to pick up and listen to a track it’s designed to be more of a journey. For fans of Bathory, Saor, Atlantean Kodex.

Ruadh's sophomore album contains six tracks of epic, Scottish Atmospheric Black Metal with Folk elements that are massive in both scope and scale, taking you through the Iron Ages in Scotland. It also explores the history and mythology of the people of Scotland, conveying both sorrow and uplifting, almost heroic tones.

‘The Rock of the Clyde’ is an evolution from their debut album ‘Sovereign’. It has a much more melodic feel, yet has more visceral elements too.

Ruadh mastermind Tom Perrett, hailing from Rutherglen (also known as the red glen) in the central belt of Scotland, looks to forge a sound akin to the classics he has always enjoyed, such as Bathory, Burzum, Windir and Emperor. However, Ruadh’s sound will also appeal to fans of newer Atmospheric Black Metal bands such as Saor, Winterfylleth and Panopticon.

Recorded over two years in Cairndow and the Isle of Skye, the new release contains five majestic new tracks
with a playing time of just under an hour. Musically it carries on where "Aura" left off, weaving together
intelligently-crafted guitar riffs, soaring folk melodies and stirring string sections, taking you on a journey
throughout the majestic, mist-covered Highland landscapes.

As well as being inspired by nature, the album takes influence from various traditional Scottish poems
which cover a range of themes such as ancient battles, cultural heritage and sorrow.

On their second full-length album, the russian four-piece band VARHARA steers toward a radical change in style compared to their debut “О​с​ы“ (2021). While firmly rooted in the dense and contemplative post-black stylized by russian bands such as SOMN, Rozh and Olhava, “П​​​у​​​с​​​т​​​о​​​ц​​​в​​​е​​​т” (Voidflower) is filled with gothic-doom overtones, balancing on the dreamy, light and heavier sides of black metal. Full of sorrow and of hope, escapism from a reality too bleak to be accepted.
