Back in stock - musica Black Metal e Dark estrema
Lathspell sounds somewhat typically Scandinavian, ranging from Norway’s Gorgoroth to Sweden’s Watain and latter Marduk efforts, with the eerie atmosphere of Ondskapt. All while still retaining the aggression of France’s Antaeus and a somewhat Australian grandeur to its blasphemy. the list could go on and on with different comparisons, ‘cause "impious incantations” isn’t unique; but it’s still damn good.
These Finnish lads surpass their predecessors in constant quality.
Five years after "Non omnis moriar", MEYHNACH is back with a second opus called "Miseria de profundis", a full-length piece of black metal with some weird elements.
The album contains the seven prophecies of a visionary digging into the depths of human misery.
"Miseria de profundis", lamentum in fine saeculi predicts the world's downfall through the eyes of a mad man that travels through feelings like paranoia, pandemics, terrorism and other faces of Evil of the 3rd millennium.
"Forfader is an emotional and triumphantly executed epic and an album that consistently pushes the band to bolder heights. This is black metal done right, going for the throat and proving Glemsel's excellence. Forfader excels in its blazing fury."
Black 12" double vinyl (33 rpm) incl. bonus tracks "Her til evig tid (Ånd: Epilog)", "Vekst (Erindring: Prolog)" and "Shades from these wounds" in sturdy printed inner sleeves with 2 double-sided inserts in deluxe gatefold (with soft touch matt laminate). First pressing 500 copies worldwide.
An early progenitor of funeral doom, Norway's FUNERAL have returned with ’Praesentialis in Aeternum’, their first new album in nearly a decade! The quartet bring forth a soul-rending offering that is rife with agony and pain, providing a fitting soundtrack for the times. Crushing, mournful passages and soaring lead breaks amplify its sorrowful atmosphere, and are certain to rive the heart, mind, and soul of listeners.

“Sun and moon, the perfect opposites.
A dualism from which every couples of opposites of the known universe springs. A duality observed and widely studied, sung and represented in several ways during past eras.
The aim of this Opus in four acts is to give another interpretation of this dichotomy, permeated by the typical elements which characterize our projects: different from each other for their variety but at the same time similar and joined an unanimous evocation of the past"
I. Intro/ SOL
II. Selvans – Pater Surgens
III. Downfall of Nur – Mater Universi

Olio Tähtien Takana is one of the artistic expressions of Finnish multi-instrumentalist v-KhaoZ (Vargrav, Druadan Forest and many others), here joined in his artistic endeavour by singer Hellwind Inferion (Desolate Shrine, Sargeist).
Spectral Katharsis is the third album by Olio Tähtien Takana, and is described by Hellwind with a series of key terms: “Cosmic, majestic misanthropy and ultimate devil worship”. Expect fury, rage and patterns of keyboards to surround you and bring you on your journey through the cosmos.
On the musical side of things, v-KhaoZ says: “We wanted something different than our other bands, a more straightforward, yet melodic approach. To this we added a varied singing style and otherworldly, space-like keyboards, to reach the multidimensionality we were aiming for”. Spectral Katharsis will tickle fans of Limbonic Art, Odium and the mid-’90s symphonic black metal scene.
The band's very name is probably the best expression to describe what v.KhaoZ and Hellwind Inferion are trying to accomplish with their collaboration, as Olio Tähtien Takana is Finnish for 'A Creature Beyond the Stars'.
Disco clamoroso!
from Norskmetal.net:
(..) The musicianship is outstanding, and the vocal duties shared between growls & clean vocals perfectly compliments the sonic landscape painted here. So much thought and care has been put into making everything fit perfectly, and I don’t believe a single note, growl or solo is out of place on this album. Everything fits, and are keys to solving the enigma that Dystopia Nå is. For some this band may be a hard code to crack as they are a bit all over the place, but once you manage to catch a glimpse through the looking glass, this album will reward you tenfold.
For me personally this is a very sought after album, and in my book Dweller on the Threshold is the Norwegian album of the year.
