Florida death metal at its best! This compilation album contains the earliest DIABOLIC works demo 1997 & ultra rare promo 1998. Diabolic is an American death metal band from Tampa Bay, Florida, founded in 1996 by bassist/vocalist Paul Ouellette, drummer Aantar Lee Coates and guitarist Brian Malone.
By January 1997, Diabolic drummer/founder Aantar Coates (Unholy Ghost, Exmortis, Horror of Horrors, Blastmasters), had relocated to Tampa, Florida and after forming the first complete lineup, the band recorded and released the successful demo ‘City of the Dead’. This demo immediately got the band noticed in the worldwide underground press. ‘City of the Dead’ was mastered at Morrisound Studios (Death, Cannibal Corpse, Deicide), Tampa, Florida by Jim Morris, and produced by Lee Harrison (Monstrosity, ex Malevolent Creation, ex Terrorizer). In 1998 the band recorded a 9 track promo that as only sent out to a very few labels to get signed and never officially released. For the 2014 vinyl re-issue of the debut demo Diabolic recorded a new special track names ‘Lucifer Induced’ (never released on cd until now). Both demo 1997, promo 1998 and the new 2014 track are included on this compilation cd. 13 tracks in total. Mythos’ ’Pain Amplifier’ album is shredding, Finnish death black Metal of the highest calibre. Featuring former Belial guitarist Jukka Valppu, Mythos burst onto the scene almost out of nowhere with one of the heaviest albums in extreme metal history. Mikko Laurila's vocals sound almost as if he literally vomited them forth, and the music is tight and surprisingly catchy considering the ultra brutal nature of the whole thing. Pain Amplifier was the only full-length from this band, this is a fitting monument to the annals of Death Metal history especially with the flowing melodicism of black metal. Originally released in 1995, recorded a Tico-Tico Studio in Kemi, Finland by Ahti Kortelainen (Impaled Nazarene, Sentenced, Wintersun). Special liner notes by Luxi Lathinen (journalist for the Metal Crypt since 1999) and new booklet design.
Algol was a Norwegian black death metal band formed in 1989 and released several demos and one full length album in the 90’s. ‘Entering the Woods of Enchantment’ is one of the most obscure and hard to find Norwegian extreme metal gems from the 90’s. a true much sought after underground gems, only one available on discogs (over 150 euros). Bonus are the ‘The Priests Are Laughing’ Demo 1992 and the ‘ Witchsleep’ Demo 1993. All tracks restored and remastered by Achilleas Kalantsiz (Vio Lence, Possessed, Varathron). The booklet contains an extensive interview with guitarist / vocalist Thomas Andresen (also Fester, No). In April 1992 Algol played on a show not far from Oslo in the town of Askim. On that particular night also played Enslaved, Infinite Decay, Infernus and Emperor, who actually played their first ever gig ever. Euronymous from Mayhem had a stand selling stuff from his infamous Helvete shop there too.
CD in Jewel case with deluxe 12-page booklet with gold Pantone print including the producer's liner notes.
Recording completely remixed and remastered from the original master tapes.
In 2018, "Grand Declaration of War" MAYHEM’s second album (2000) has been completely remixed and remastered by Jaime Gomez Arellano in the Orgone Studios (UK). It offers a very new approach of this cult album.
He comments on the remaster: "It was a challenging remix to do, starting with the now obsolete format it was recorded in (ADAT). […] I ended up mastering the album to analogue tape to get a bit more warmth, depth and bottom end.
I hope you all enjoy this new mix of this legendary album!
For fans of DARKTHRONE, GORGOROTH, IMMORTAL, WATAIN, 1349, MARDUK.

Hailing from the frozen landscapes of Norway, 1349 have etched their mark upon the black metal pantheon, wielding their instruments like war-axes in the vanguard of the genre's relentless assault. With a legacy drenched in the blood of aural extremities, they have become the standard-bearers of unyielding sonic warfare, relentless in their pursuit of the darker arts.
Behold ‘The Wolf & The King’, the latest cataclysm to be unleashed by 1349. A tempestuous odyssey through eight tracks of pure, unadulterated black metal, flawlessly showcasing the band's mastery over chaos and carnage. From the voracious onslaught of “The God Devourer” to the sinister depths of “Fatalist”, each track is a portal into a realm where shadows reign supreme, and the air is thick with the stench of decay. “Ash of Ages” blends thrash influences with extreme black metal flourishes, crafting a journey through the heart of darkness, while “Shadow Point” and “Inferior Pathways” conjoin to forge an iron spine of classic headbanging riffs and inexorable groove.
With ‘The Wolf & The King’, 1349 continues to stretch the boundaries of the genre, infusing their relentless blast beats and searing guitars with an atmosphere of apocalyptic elegance.
