After a couple of silent years, MORAST are back with their third album called “FENTANYL”. Carried by grief, loss and the abyss of emotional pain, they have managed to turn this energy into a celebrating resurrection. Their urge to create a dark and sinister atmosphere is still inherent, but this time their approach seems more aggressive, ecstatic and raw. A six song trip to the bleakest corners of human existence. A monolith of abhorrence and filth.
After the 2023 debut album “Hiding Amongst Humans” ArsGoatia pursue their chaotic and psychedelic musical agenda. "Agitators Of Hysteria" is a stirring black metal expression where you can find something infectious in every track. An uncompromising attack that leaves you shivering in anticipation of what's next. A sonic nightmare with unimaginably beautiful guitars, imbued with the furious call from the hottest point of Hell…“
„Agitators Of Hysteria“ is ArsGoatias second album. Furious outbursts, emerging from the bottom of an impenetrable abyss, preaching Luciferian truths, imbued with perversion, sinister malice, unrelenting violence and death.

Night Crowned, the Swedish blackened death metal powerhouse, has emerged as a force to be reckoned with in the heavy music scene. Their debut studio album, "Impius Viam", released on February 28, 2020, via Noble Demon, instantly captivated both critics and fans, solidifying its place as one of the year's most exceptional releases.
Comprised of former and current members of renowned acts such as Dark Funeral, Nightrage, and Cipher System, Night Crowned possesses a musical vision that is as haunting as it is clear. With "Impius Viam", they have crafted a work of art that exudes rage, melancholy, and pure destruction, resurrecting the dormant sounds of the influential Scandinavian acts and masterpieces from the '90s.
This modern-era melodic death/black metal classic seamlessly blends aggression, atmosphere, and captivating melodies, leaving listeners in awe of its flawless and relentless mix. Night Crowned's steady pursuit of musical excellence knows no bounds, as they wasted no time in releasing their highly anticipated follow-up record, "Hädanfärd," on July 9th, 2021.
Inspired by a story penned by vocalist K. Romlin, "Hädanfärd" delves into encounters with death, weaving a far-reaching concept that was meticulously developed during the band's intense demo process. The album's nine atmospheric tracks, accompanied by K. Romlin's written interpretations and explanations, form an infernal and bleak monolith that solidifies Night Crowned as one of Sweden's best kept blackened death metal secrets.
In 2023, the band's highly anticipated third full-length record will be released, again via the esteemed Noble Demon label. With "Tales", Night Crowned embarks on a new chapter, pushing the boundaries of blackened death metal to unprecedented levels. Brace yourselves for an auditory assault that defies conventions and redefines the limits of the genre. Night Crowned is a force to be reckoned with, and their relentless pursuit of musical excellence shows no signs of waning. With lyrics in both English and Swedish, Jonathan Thorpenberg's mixing skills put the band's sound on full display, while Jani Stefanovic's mastering ensures that every note is hit with precision. So surrender to the darkness and let Night Crowned guide you through their captivating narratives!
Necrogod is the perfect expression of atavistic death metal brutality spearheaded by none other than Rogga Johansson (Paganizer, Revolting, Eye of Purgatory) who has teamed up with the revered The Master Butcher (Morbid Stench, Insepulto) to make this feat possible. It's a product of careful deliberation and years of experience, with Rogga Johansson laying down the heaviest music of possibly his entire career and The Master Butcher just taking things to another level with his barrage of unearthly roars. This is the culmination of death metal mastery, a groovy, pummelling record that imbibes the best elements of Swedish and American death metal scenes to create a truly fearsome record without parallel. What's surprising is that despite the face-blasting aggression and unbridled vocal delivery, the music is well-rounded with thought-out structures, tempo changes, build-ups, solos and even traces of sick melodies. Clearly a marked deviation from the usual Rogga Johansson fare that one is acquainted with, this is some next level old school brutality that will knock you flat and will have you crawling back for more.

Cutterred Flesh have evolved to play what’s beginning to resemble a progressive form of brutal death metal. Without reducing the wholesome girth, they are able to pull off amazing feats that will stop the listener in his tracks and have him mentally slot them in a higher category than what he had originally pegged them at. While not as slick as some of their contemporaries skittishly moving about with hardly any impact, Cutterred Flesh’s music carries real weight and boasts of similar diversity if not more and is littered with unpredictable parts. Each of the songs on their sixth full length have a special thing going on and close listens only reveal the intricate structuring and even traces of emotive facets. It’s rare to come across a brutal death metal album that scratches the bludgeoning heaviness itch and also leaves a lasting impact that’s not purely external. Cutterred Flesh have clearly mastered their craft at this stage and come up with an album that is unfathomably heavy yet versatile and engaging which easily stands out from the one-dimensional ones languishing in the narrow confines of the brutal death metal realm.

US band Felled have created breathtaking music melding black metal with folk elements and lending to it rare depth and warmth. The inclusion of instruments such as violin and viola is masterfully done and is used almost as the main instrument here. The soulful music emanating from them is truly heart-rending and enhances the expression of this kind of black metal without diminishing the intensity. There's not a dull moment on this 40-min record, with there being brilliant interplay between the guitar and the violin and viola, the arrangements being taut and with no section overstaying its welcome. It wouldn't be too much of a stretch to call this record a near perfect one in the subgenre, and one that stays with you long after it's over, its lingering tunes beckoning you to give yet another spin. There's unparalleled elegance, remarkable dynamism and above all, the genuine quality of a band that's creating music from the heart without any affectation.
Members of Acausal Intrusion and Dwelling Below conspire amongst themselves to create dissonant/technical death metal that pushes the limits of reality. With music being this intricate, strangely intuitive and visceral, it blurs the point where the magnification of their music ends and the imagination takes over. It's a dark, murky, nightmarish dive into a realm where trajectories from multiple dimensions manifest to intersect and overlap before dissipating, taking different temporal forms. Nothing is permanent in their world; the tunes change every few seconds and so does everything around them - the implications are in real-time and catastrophically mind-melting. It's a downward spiral of your consciousness where the out-of-control thoughts overwhelm and overpower, and take you on a one-way trip to incessant hallucinations and inevitable madness. Innumerable riffs are piled on top of one another first frantically, then slowly to allow for them to be properly seared into memory so that they can haunt you in turns for the rest of your life. Hierarchies have, on only their debut, created a truly frightening album not merely outwardly but one that is also psychologically scarring for the listener, and endlessly fascinating all the same.
