or more than 35 years, Masacre have been among the most championed bands in the Medellin, Colombia Death Metal underground.
After releasing several demos in the late 1980's the band focused its sound into the cataclysmic masterpiece known as "Ola De Violencia".
This EP, recorded and released by the band in 1991 has for decades stood as a powerful testament to the potential for the oppressive darkness and massive power inherent in Death Metal, revealing Masacre's penchant for devastating and brooding riffs infused with melancholic passages that accentuate the morose atmosphere the band captures.
Without warning, however, Masacre frequently erupts into violent blasts of evil, unleashing torrents of hate and aggression heralding the arrival of the more sinister Black Metal sound that was then beginning to cast its shadow across the metal underground.
"Ola De Violencia" was far ahead of its time when it was released, but initially was almost unknown outside of Colombia until Osmose Productions reissued the tracks on a split with Profanatica in 1992, and coming now with bonus tracks in this remastered version!
Remastered version with bonus tracks:
Termonuclear (2:34), Los Pecados del Dios (1:43), Brutales Masacres (live) (5:05) & Ola de Violencia (live) (3:57).
Jewel case edition with 16 page booklet 145g art paper, sealed.

Finnish black metal is an acquired taste. It's chaotic, noisy and pure evil.
This is a more mature release musically. The song structures have come a long way since Satanic Black Devotion, but still maintain everything this band is known for. There is definitely more of the signature intertwining guitar work, that weaves in and out amongst the chaos of the drums and ghastly vocals. It's that guitar work that takes the listener for an emotional roller coaster, especially on songs like "Burning Voice of Adoration", which has the ability to stir up absolute sadness and sorrow.
As for production, the formula is still the same. Turn everything up beyond reason and comprehension, almost to a breaking point. Seriously, prolonged exposure to this will probably make your houseplants wilt and die.

“Coloured Funeral” is one of the most complex releases of early 90's death metal, certainly a cornerstone release for all fans, which needs more attention than it gets in time. It's a classic masterpiece without compromise that defines why old school death metal was unique and intelligent music.
Recorded and mixed by Colin Richardson in 1993, this album brings some of the best technical and slightly progressive death metal, with a clean and powerful production.
You find some progressive elements but it's a vicious and aggressive old school death metal gem.
This is intense brutality of the highest rank, a mind-blowing piece of real unholy Death Metal forever written in extreme metal history!
Re-issue, completely updated layout with a new mastering specially for vinyl.

OSMOSE PRODUCTIONS is proud to reissue MINENWERFER's third album, Alpenpässe, on CD and vinyl LP formats.
Since their formation in 2007, MINENWERFER have pursued a proud ‘n' pure vision of black metal idiosyncratically focused on World War I – idiosyncratic, in the sense that the band hail from America but mostly sing in German. What has resulted is a startlingly accomplished canon that has quietly built itself into prolific proportions, with their first album arriving in 2010, followed by albums in 2012 and 2019, and a slew of split releases and EPs in the interim.
That third album, Alpenpässe, is arguably MINENWERFER's grandest work yet. While seven years separated it from its full-length predecessor, Nihilistischen, the payoff was well worth it: its six songs in nearly an hour are towers of incomparable might. Everything here is free and flowing, with the bountifully rising/falling melodies pulling at the listener's heartstrings and casting an ominous (and eminently playable) spell that simply needs to be experienced to be believed. This is MINENWERFER at their most powerful and poignant.
OSMOSE PRODUCTIONS have been fans of MINENWERFER for years, and is honored to unleash their once-underground back catalog on the wide scale it so deserves.
Reprint, updated layout, 396x black 2x12" (180g) in a black poly-lined innerbag, download card, gatefold jacket full-color - black flood inside on 350g, all assembled in a PVC overbag.
"Reuniting together on one supreme release, the exclusive songs that originally appeared on the 2012 split album with Monarque, and the four epic tracks that graced the 2016 split release with French black metallers ENDE, originally know as "Le Puits Des Morts". The dark hymn "Le Puits Des Morts" is featuring important figures of the Métal Noir Québécois scene as guest vocalists, including Athros (Forteresse), Blanc Feu (Cantique Lépreux / Chasse-Gallerie), Monarque (Monarque / Sanctuaire), Nordet (Brume d'Automne). It also features I. Luciferia from ENDE with guest backing vocals.
"Sous La Lune Noire" present some of their darkest and evil material, but also have epic and highly atmospheric moments."
Snowland MMXII" is the complete re-recording of the first Sorcier Des Glaces album "Snowland".
The band wanted to give an updated vision of their very first work, as they thought the original one had great riffs and atmosphere, but was poorly executed and recorded. They managed to preserve the rawness and the primitive essence that characterized their first album, but with a more defined sound and production values.
Also, Sorcier Des Glaces didn't use any keyboards on "Snowland MMXII" in opposite to the original 1997 "Snowland".
SDG don't use keyboards anymore in their songs since the third album (The Puressence of Primitive Forests), so that re-recorded version of Snowland is more in tune with the actual sound of the band.

After 4 long years of silence and absence in the fog of the pandemic and war, like a heavy sledgehammer rushing towards your head, Pyre returns with their third full-length murderous opus.
With the unique fresh-sounding production but yet traditionally made in the old-school vein, along with the new level of performance, the new album delivers mid-tempo darkness and colder atmosphere of their previous album, complemented by classic phrases of band's well-known high-speed crushing low-tuned rattling riffage with obscure melodies and solos and surely recognizable signature frantic voice.

"Monuments Anciens" is a collection of exclusive tracks along with instrumental demo recordings from Sorcier Des Glaces. Some of them were recorded back in 2001 on an old tape-recorder, which later versions of these songs ended-up on the third Sorcier Des Glaces album "The Puressence of Primitive Forests".
It also features exclusive tracks that were intentionally recorded with raw production in 2010/2011.
"Monuments Anciens" offers some of the rawest and very primitive Sorcier Des Glaces material, always picturing the black, cold & evil world SDG is known for".

"Sorcier Des Glaces' second offering to the mortal world was recorded just two years after the very first album, in August 1999. Nevertheless, the maturity of their sound and composition is perceptible. It's no longer a one-man band this time, involving Luc more extensively, who this time records all the drum parts and also participates in the elaboration of several keyboard parts. The infernal duo is officially up and running.
With its icy atmosphere and dark yet melodic compositions reflecting the northern forests of Quebec, "Moonrise in Total Darkness" defines a young band still in exploration mode. Certainly more raw in its aestheticism than the band's more recent material, but with an authenticity that has forged their identity over the years".
Re-issue, 300x heavyweight marble (white/black) ) 12" (180g) in a microtene innerbag, innersleeve printed, black & white on 220g carton (coated paper), jacket full-color printed on 350g carton, coated paper (semi-gloss), all assembled in a plastic overbag.
"The Puressence of Primitive Forests" is the third chapter of the Sorcier Des Glaces story, and was originally released in 2011. Recorded no less than 11 years after the previous album, the band's sound took a more old school and darker turn, a little less atmopheric while still being characterized by an extreme coldness, like an icy Nordic wind blowing.
This is the first album where the band says goodbye to keyboards, replacing them with a wall of lead guitars instead. Sorcier Des Glaces also pays tribute to the Hungarian band "Tormentor", with the cover of "Tormentor I".

Snowland" is the very first chapter of Sorcier Des Glaces, the spark that made the original flame grow. This first draft was certainly very raw, tinged with innocence and spontaneity.
A blizzard had just broken out, in the eternal winter that had just set in.
Snowland is cold, really cold, pure, lo-fi in the extreme, achieving the very first goal of what Sorcier Des Glaces wanted to evoke in the eyes of the world. Expressing disgust with the human race by exiling himself to its own snowland, the melodies evoke a certain romanticism of the great Nordic forests. He is then alone to begin his reign on his night's throne.
