Seven years without a new studio album by long-running Swedish black metal act DARK FUNERAL was a tough time for its worldwide legions of fans, but finally in 2016, two decades after the release of the band's legendary debut album “The Secrets Of The Black Arts” a new aeon is about to begin. And, DARK FUNERAL's sixth studio album, “Where Shadows Forever Reign”, produced by Daniel Bergstrand (In Flames, Dimmu Borgir, Behemoth), actually refers back to the aforementioned first album in several ways: Firstly, it proudly comes along with stunning artwork by Necrolord (Dissection, Necrophobic, Emperor) just like “The Secrets…” back in ‘96, secondly, it also marks a debut of sorts as it is the first DARK FUNERAL opus with new vocalist Heljarmadr (Grá). His vitriolic snarl finds a perfect match in Lord Ahriman's trademark riffing, and shines on the intense opening track, which would not have felt out of place on 1998's “Vobiscum Satanas”, as well as on the slower epic, “As I Ascend”, the diverse “To Carve Another Wound”, or the grim finale “Where Shadows Forever Reign”. Rewarding their fans to the fullest with an incredibly strong new album burning with passion and determination, DARK FUNERAL shall celebrate a triumphant return...in the sign of the horns.

Info : Sweden's MARDUK are not only one of the most long running and respected black metal acts out there, but also one of the most productive. Even fourteen albums into their storied career, the quartet have never ever delivered a weak album and never wavered from their path of utter blasphemy and misanthropic contempt. 2004's “Plague Angel” was the first release featuring current vocalist Mortuus (Funeral Mist, Triumphator) who played a pivotal role in MARDUK's reinvigoration after the departure of previous singer Legion. 'We are God”, the 3rd full length album by the German band TSATTHOGGUA, is aimed at all the perverted black sado-crazies out there. The original line-up of the band has reunited after more than twenty years to kick some ass and dominate. In true black love, they are once again signed to the renowned Osmose Productions label and offer you nine brutally hellish, blasphemous black terror tracks of the bizarre kind for 40 minutes.
The anthems of hate and contempt were recorded and mixed at the infamous Rambado recording studio. Incredibly powerfully mastered by the fantastic D. Koehne, the new songs promise pure glorious ecstasy.
With this release they are taking a completely new path with their bizarre art paired with the inimitable chaotic style of years past. The next extraordinary artwork was designed by the fantastic artist MorphArts and shows in his art the clear demarcation from everything known from this and past days.
With this release, TSATTHOGGUA show once again that there is no paradise for human sheep. It will pass the time until salvation.
