Back in stock - Extreme Metal and Dark music
DEINONYCHUS represent the sound of Apocalypse, a real Dark trip towards the end of light and hope. You will live a dangerous weapon, so nihilistic and dark that even the sunnest summer day will become a grey post-nuclear night.
Forged in the early 2000's, MARE has become quite the mysterious gem for underground fanatics across the globe. Rarely playing live and with hard to get releases, the band has become, for many, one of the few 'real' Black Metal bands out there left in todays oversaturated scene. To many they have seemed to do so on purpose, but for us working closely with the band it is simply in their nature not to bother. They make music for themselves, they do this for themselves, and rest assured MARE will genuinely keep going down their own path never caring about hypes, fashion, trends or fame. They arrogantly named their own music 'Nidrosian Black Sorcerous Art' which defines who they are, on stage and off stage.
This isn't a show, this isn't a gimmick.
The flickering light of fragile hope battles the crushing weight of despair in Fields of Mildew’s fourth release, “IV”. With its signature minimalist dark folk, the project delves into the innermost recesses of human emotion, offering an unflinching reflection on loss, resilience, and the stark beauty of barren landscapes.
On “IV”, Fields of Mildew shifts its focus inward, exploring the fragmented psyche of a solitary soul caught between the oppressive weight of reality and fleeting moments of imagined relief. Themes of love and loss, fragile dreams, and the slow erosion of hope thread through the album, painting a harrowing yet tender portrait of inner struggle.
Amidst the sorrow, glimmers of solace emerge as the music itself offers moments of reprieve. Immersive melodies are shaped by the same austere minimalism that defines the project’s essence – from its stripped-down instrumentation to its visual aesthetic, inspired by the desolate Teufelsmoor region of Northern Germany.
Since its inception in 2015, Fields of Mildew has stood as a testament to the human spirit pushed to its limits. Helmed by a musician known only as R, the project began as an ode to the resilient souls who eked out a living in the unforgiving lands of the Teufelsmoor. Over time, its thematic scope expanded, but the core remained unchanged: an unflinching portrayal of human existence in its most vulnerable and honest form.
“IV” is the culmination of this evolution – a quiet yet powerful meditation on despair, resilience, and the fleeting beauty found even in life’s harshest moments. For those seeking music that channels the depth of mortal experience with haunting clarity, “IV” is a profoundly moving journey into darkness and beyond.

On his debut album "Sovereign", Scottish musician and songwriter Tom Perrett set out to compose music purely to taste. Drawing from the vast well of history, culture and mythology, Tom created an unmistakable atmosphere of proud and powerful Scottish Black Metal with the beating heart of old school Black Metal favourites of his, such as WINDIR, BATHORY, BURZUM & more, which should also appeal to fans of SAOR, WINTERFYLLETH, PANOPTICON and similar acts.

The long work is coming to an end: Italian/Polish black metal band Amalekim, with a new line-up, is ready to reveal their latest work, Avodah Zarah.
Once again, the ultimate aim is to question all that is sacred and all that is profane in this age of ours. Avodah Zarah contains many influences and many different experiences, both on a musical and a personal level, seeking to present itself as something new in the purest tradition of the genre. With this work, Amalekim decisively turn over a new leaf compared to their previous work, HVHI, with conceptual and musical maturity, seeking to maintain the melodic aspects that distinguish them, implemented by dissonances and greater compositional complexity.
Avodah Zarah revolves around the concept of the inversion of values, taking much from the Old Testament tradition, occultism and alchemy, always in an attempt to bring to the ears and eyes (starting from the cover) of the listeners an ever-present revolt, but without the obviousness and generality that too often mark today's world.
Limited 4LP slipcase with Petrol Green vinyl. With booklet.
