Winterlong, the psychedelic new album from Executioner’s Mask is set for release on Profound Lore Records. An epic bouquet of swelling synths, hypnotic melodies, and noisy guitars marry post-punk and shoegaze in ten songs exploring themes of liberation and self-destruction in these end-times. In the studio, the core group of Gambit, Mickle and Wilson added Christian Molenaar into the fold on synths, adding an ethereal edge to the band’s hard-driving melancholy. Additional touches were added by Kennedy Ashlyn (SRSQ) and Jake Superchi (Uada, Ceremonial Castings), their distinct sonic fingerprints sending the compositions further into territories unexplored. 
Featuring production from Jeff Zeigler (The War On Drugs) and Ryan Schwabe (Oneohtrix Point Never), Winterlong is the type of sublime and immersive album that inspires the same visions often conjured by masters like The National, Alcest and Deerhunter. On stage, Gambit, Mickle, and Molenaar are joined by Anthony Charletta on bass, Melissa Lochambon on drums, and Daniel Gaona on guitar to create an explosive force of sound that come together with the potency of Children Of God-era Swans. 
Expanding on the kaleidoscope of ambition, expect to see re-mixes of the album released in a series of their own by an ensemble cast that features members of Deafheaven, Full Of Hell, No Joy, Xiu Xiu, and The Armed amongst an army of others. The first of these Winterlong re-mix albums will be released as a bonus disc that will come with the CD release, mastered by Angel Marcloid (aka Fire-Toolz).

For over a decade, FEN have steadily developed into one of the most intriguing bands within the UK black metal scene. Often bracketed within the post-black and "shoegaze" movements, the London trio’s sound is actually more unique to themselves – a startling paradox of searing and aggressive paradox within a progressively daring and ambient beauty. Starting out with a pastoral form of atmospheric black metal on 2009's acclaimed debut The Malediction Fields, the trio's sound has expanded and diversified considerably across five full-length albums to embrace a number of different elements all honed and synthesized into a distinctive, yet captivating, soundscape. In late 2015, the band recorded a three-track EP, entitled Stone and Sea, which was a deliberate hearken back to their older, more explosive, sound whilst retaining the maturity the English trio had developed across the years. The intention was to record something ‘for themselves’, to escape from the album cycle for a time and work on a self-contained piece.  

Recorded, produced and re-mastered specifically for vinyl by Greg Chandler (Esoteric, Lychgate, Grave Miasma, Fluisteraars), these tracks take the best aspects of post-rock and black metal and intertwine key elements of traditional folk to create a masterpiece laced with a definite touch of the "epic."
'Stone & Sea' is a tribute to the crumbling coastlines of Eastern England and the spirits that lie restless beneath the waters.

Scald from Yarsoslavl in Russia were formed by bassist Velignor in the second half of 1993. A year later their first proper demo tape »North Winds« was recorded. However, it was their cassette album under the original title of »Will Of Gods Is A Great Power«, released in October 1997 on MetalAgen (one of the biggest labels in Russia at the time), that made them an underground cult name in international doom circles. At this point in time their charismatic singer Agyl was already dead (he was tragically killed in a train accident on September 6th 1997), and the band as such didn’t exist anymore. 24 years later, in 2021, High Roller Records issued the ultimate edition of the album under the new title of »Will Of The Gods Is Great Power«. As a result, Scald were gaining battalions of new fans and went on to achieve a whole new level of popularity. After a one-off live appearance at the Hammer Of Doom festival in 2019 and a 7” single called »There Flies Our Wail!« on High Roller in 2021, Scald are back for good with a brand new studio album aptly christened »Ancient Doom Metal«. It was recorded by the four original Scald members Velingor (bass), Harald (guitars), Karry (guitars), Ottar (drums and percussion) plus Felipe Plaza Kutzbach (known for his work with Procession and Capilla Ardiente) on vocals.

Never, Neverland is the album that turns the page for UNTO OTHERS. Their third LP, following underground classics, Mana and Strength, it's the sound of harsh light breaking through the Portland quartet's darkened gothic and classic metal motifs. After significant radio play and hundreds of live shows around the world in the company of Behemoth, Arch Enemy, and King Diamond (amongst many others), frontman Gabe Franco and Co. have teamed up with producer Tom Dalgety (Ghost, The Cult), taking the next step from dark sunglasses and chugging metallic riffs to the more melodious gloom of lead track, "Butterfly", the crunching, punkish abandon of "Suicide Today" or the grandiosity of "Angel of the Night". LIMBONIC ART are back! Their ninth full-length "Opus Daemoniacal" is black as a raven, fierce as a wolf, majestic as an eagle, and mighty as the legendary Norwegian black metal pioneers that mastermind, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist Vidar "Daemon" Jensen founded in 1993 have always been. "Opus Daemoniacal" continues along the more straightforward black metal path that the Norwegian has chosen for his last releases yet this album also deliberately harks back to the dense atmospheric and cinematic feel of LIMBONIC ART's groundbreaking early works. After having turned into a duo, the debut album "Moon in the Scorpio" was released in 1996 via Nocturnal Art Productions – the label of EMPEROR guitarist Samoth aka Tomas Thormodsæter Haugen. Their at the time quite unique combination of harsh Nordic black metal with cinematic elements inspired by romantic and classic orchestral music proved extremely influential in the following years. With their sophomore full-length "In Abhorrence Dementia" (1997) and the third album "Epitome of Illusions" (1998) LIMBONIC ART gradually reduced the symphonic elements of their sound. In February 2003, the duo broke up, but Daemon reformed the band in 2006. He continued to release the LIMBONIC ART albums "Phantasmagoria" (2010) and "Spectre Abysm" (2017). "Opus Daemoniacal" connects the present to the early sound of the Norwegian cult act, which is bound to appeal to friends of their first albums as well as to a new generation of classic Norse black metal connoisseurs.
