With 'Sathanas Grand Victoria' PESTLEGION return with a grim black assault on all what is holy. Their 2022 album destroys all hope for a better future by focusing on the
essence of human lifes and efforts, it concentrates on death itself, the final victory
of the seducer of mankind. The four German maniacs composed eight songs which lead into a dark and lost existence, surrounded by fear and infernal thunder. PESTLEGION sound scapes are wide and dynamic but primitive and analogue at the same time.

Mixed and mastered by SODOM drummer Toni Merkel and backed up by Tom Angelripper's vocals, PESTLEGION clearly show that they deeply stick in the old school beginning of Black Metal but propel the genre to a new and ghastly highlight, compounding darkness, speed, brutality and atmosphere to a sheer cacophony ... supporting everything which sounds unholy or even dead.

The release that put Krolok firmly on the map in the underground in 2017. All fat cut out, just five haunting hymns of brooding nocturnal black metal that lurks like a reptile within forlorn castle ruins of Europe's obscure corners. For fans of classic Scandinavian and Central European black metal of the golden 90s era, in its pure undiluted form and with the right authentic spirit.

Live demo recorded at a private gig in the autumn of 2013 during the band's earlier days. The songs are thereby reduced to a more primal, barbaric form.

Extra material is provided by a cover of Carpathian Forest's 90s classic "When Thousand Moons Have Circled" and a special ambient composition "Cosmic Rituals" that delves into the darker, more introspective aspects of Krolok.

 

This album is a retrospective look into the past, where old forlorn ruins and obscurity reign over desolate landscapes. Gazing back also into my own past, I have re-recorded a song originally included on the demo tape of my old band Helcaraxe, composed back in 2003. Delve deep in and listen... listen to the atmospheres of an arcane night and return within your thoughts into bygone times...

 

A raw pre-production of material for the debut album and more - an atmospheric introduction and a moody acoustic guitar based instrumental is added, making this a release of its own.

Since their formation in 2007, MINENWERFER have pursued a proud 'n' pure vision of black metal idiosyncratically focused on World War I - idiosyncratic, in the sense that the band hail from America but mostly sing in German. What has resulted is a startlingly accomplished canon that has quietly built itself into prolific proportions, with their first album arriving in 2010, followed by albums in 2012 and 2019, and a slew of split releases and EPs in the interim.

That second album, Nihilistischen, took a moodier turn from MINENWERFER's throttling debut album, Volkslieder. But while a relative expansion of dynamics made their songs sound even more epic, the duo likewise upped the muscle to their attack, arriving at a thicker soundfield than that no-less-considerable predecessor. What results is a work equally steeped in the ugly underground and the yonder battlefields of professionalism.

Five years after "Non omnis moriar", MEYHNACH is back with a second opus called "Miseria de profundis", a full-length piece of black metal with some weird elements.

Originally released in the autumn of 2009, of DARK FUNERAL's fifth album, Angelus Exuro Pro Eternus, completes something of a trilogy with the predecessors Diabolis Interium (2001) and Attera Totus Sanctus (2005), in that they all featured the band's fastest and fiercest work yet along with suitably fiery cover artwork. However, that's not to say that Angelus Exuro Pro Eternus merely repeated past glories; in fact, DARK FUNERAL here exhibited a relatively adventurous grasp of dynamics to suit the more melancholic & romantic themes being explored here. More than that, some 15-plus years after their formation, their power and passion had not lessened one bit. Sadly, Angelus Exuro Pro Eternus was to be the final recorded performance of founding vocalist Emperor Magus Caligula.

At long last, OSMOSE will do DARK FUNERAL's back catalog justice with the first of many reissues. This version of Angelus Exuro Pro Eternus will faithfully reproduce the original, now finally available on vinyl for the first time in nearly a decade.

Recorded within less than two weeks at a studio in Wilster, Germany back in 1993, “The Ending Quest” was a bit of a forgotten obscurity until Century Media Records' 2012 anthology “Within the Shadow of Darkness”, which also covered all of the band's demo recordings.
Now, the album is made available again as a limited edition including liner notes by Chris Dick (Decibel Magazine, USA).
